Nice short trip in May
We spent a long weekend at the Marveld campsite in early summer and really enjoyed it. The swimming pool is just great and the restaurants and the surrounding area are also very nice.
Only the small pitches with private sanitary facilities spoiled the whole thing a bit, but it was only a short vacation.
You should be aware that this is a party place where there is always something going on so it is not for those looking for peace and quiet.

Great place for families!
We stayed at the campsite for two weeks in August / September 2022. We could "only" book Monday to Monday, which we were refused at de Leistert (only Sat to Sat). No problem at Marveld.
Initially, the site was 95% full, but at the end it was very empty due to the vacations ending in NL.
But even at full... capacity there were no restrictions.
A little paradise for children: Bowling, indoor pool with slides, outdoor pool with lots of slides, basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer and countless playgrounds, discreet entertainment with Toen & Ploen, mini disco, mini golf and much more: there's never a dull moment here.
Friendly, helpful staff.
We also enjoyed going to Groenlo (market, dwarf tour, shopping), which is very easy to reach by bike.

Still very good the 4th time
This is the 4th time we have had a pitch with private sanitary facilities and we are already looking forward to a fifth time. From our point of view, you have everything you could wish for here. Supermarket with a large selection, various restaurants, various indoor and outdoor playgrounds, tennis, bowling, golf, minigolf, etc.

Great vacation in bad weather
Unfortunately, it rained every day during our fall vacation, which meant that there was water in the awning. However, this was also due to the fact that many pitches are in a kind of "hollow" and the water simply cannot drain away. These pitches would have to be filled in or leveled. We had a private... sanitary block at our disposal. Unfortunately, these houses are of the simplest construction (OSB boards sealed with paint) and therefore not really attractive (not even from the outside). But they are functional. Unfortunately, the heating broke down twice, so a technician had to come. The CP offers a lot; the swimming pool stands out positively.

Large vacation park with plenty to do
Large vacation park with everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. There are 2 free WiFi access points per pitch. We had a pitch with (heated) private sanitary facilities, which was very pleasant in the fall weather. The pitches are large enough and well maintained. The wash... houses were fine, considering the rainy conditions. However, the criticisms regarding the lack of soap, towels and storage facilities are entirely justified. The swimming pool is great and there is plenty on offer throughout the day. We couldn't do everything. The supermarket is well stocked and also reasonably priced for a campsite. The snack bar is okay in terms of food and prices. However, what is delivered in the pizzeria is simply a cheek. The pizza tastes like a cardboard box and the spaghetti carbonara was reheated pasta in an indefinable mush. I can't understand why the restaurant is fully booked every evening, but then suddenly a few seats are free on request. We didn't try the other restaurants You can fish at the ponds on the campsite without asking, which was great fun for our son. The "O" in Winterswijk is about 10 km away. All in all, we were satisfied and will definitely come back again.

So far very good but still a little disappointed
So far everything is very nice, the playground is also great and the swimming pool left nothing to be desired for our son. The staff are very friendly, only the older lady at the till in the supermarket was a bit unfriendly. We went to the Pfandkuchenhaus and will never eat here again, the food was subterranean... for the high price. The sanitary blocks are not very clean, the temperature in the showers is not selectable and we found it unpleasant that the toilets are not spatially separated, all rooms are open at the top.

Very nice but sanitary building catastrophic
The site has a lot to offer and is set up really well. The pitches are also good. The sanitary buildings are not really clean and cold. The heating was off (in October)! Hot water cannot be regulated as there is only one button to turn it on. We would only visit the site again in the warmer months.

The staff are very friendly, the place offers many possibilities, 3 out of 4 restaurants were underground bad. It's almost cheeky to charge for the food. The sanitary facilities were relatively clean. We noticed that soap and hand dryers are only hung up in the toilets when it is known that the site... testers are present. Out of 7 days we had hand dryers exactly in the 2 days. I think the place is too expensive because of the things mentioned. We will not be back.

Disappointing
It was supposed to be our 10-day summer vacation and unfortunately turned into an 8-day vacation with 4 days off (Corpus Christi). The anticipation was great and the first impression really CLASS. The reception was very friendly. The outdoor pool was great. Sanitary building disappointing. The pitch... was very nice. Everything could be better looked after. Unfortunately, we didn't find the peace and quiet we were looking for. The restaurant (pizzeria) is unfortunately not to be recommended. Tasteless food out of a bag. I am honest and would not go there again. Sometimes less is more.

A super place, well organized, great leisure facilities
A large campsite with plenty of leisure facilities. Bowling alley, adventure swimming pool, a well-stocked supermarket with reasonable prices. The restaurant offers good cuisine, snacks and snack bars are also okay. Large pitches ensure that the children get to know each other quickly. A great place that we will definitely visit again. Our highlight: soccer golf on the golf course adjacent to the campsite.

Great vacation with great weather
We were in Marveld during the Easter vacation with 2 children (5 and 7 years old). Fortunately, we had warm and sunny weather, which generally makes a vacation more enjoyable. The outdoor pool was opened a week early. The indoor pool is very exciting, although you can book this in addition and for a... family for 5 days it quickly adds up to €50. There are also a number of restaurants and bars, none of which we used. The indoor climbing park is difficult to find and poorly signposted. As there is little to be found about it on the website, it is probably not noticed by many children. On the whole, we enjoyed Marveld.

We spent a great 11 days on this wonderful site. Spacious pitches and lots of leisure activities. There is plenty to do even in bad weather. Shopping facilities available on the site and also in the surrounding area.

Nice winter weekend spent
We spent a relaxing winter weekend here in January this year. The campsite is open in winter and is also designed for it, e.g. heated sanitary facilities, nice skating rink, large indoor pool, children's entertainment, sauna etc. And very quiet. And very quiet.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder
Wir waren über Sylvester da und es hat uns Super Gefallen! Preis Leistung einfach Klasse, mehrere Restaurants am Platz, Supermarkt sehr gut sortiert, Personal super Freundlich, Schwimmen einfach Klasse, das mit den Schliess Fächern ist eigentlich ganz einfach wenn man es weiss, Vielleicht eine Beschreibung... auf Deutsch. Sauberkeit auf den WC´s na ja wurden natürlich täglich gereinigt, nur es sollte bedacht werden, dass der Platz fast ausgebucht war, und wenn einige Camper nicht in der Lage sind die Klobürste zu benutzen sehen diese natürlich dementsprechend aus. Leider!!

Silvester in der Mietunterkunft
wir waren über sylvester in einer Mietunterkunft, obwohl wir sonst mit dem Wonie unterwegs sind war uns das aber über silvester zu kalt. Daher kann ich über den zustand der Sanitäranlagen auch nichts sagen. Das was wir sonst gesehen und erlabt haben sind aber 5 Sterne. Erlebnisschwimmbad mit 3 Rutschen,... Kekelbahn, super sortierter Supermarkt, supernettes Personal. Eislaufbahn hallo!!! welcher Paltz hat ne Eislaufbahn absolut cool. 4 Restaurants und nen Platzeigenen Pizzalieferservice. Sorry wenn ich mit den anderen Bewertungen hier nicht konform bin aber wo gibts sowas also alles zusammen auf einem Platz. Hatte ich die Kinderfreundlichkeit des Personals schon erwähnt. Aber Klar über silvestern gibt es Feuerwerk und das ist laut. das der Betreiber die Mülltonnen zuschliesst das keine Böller reinwirft auch verständlich. Wenn man keine 16A Stromanschluss am Platz bezahlen will muss man sich nicht wundern wenn die Sicherung fällt. Am 1 Januar war der Supermarkt ab 10 Uhr geöffnet und es gab frische Brötchen. Keine Wartezeiten beim Checkout super organisiert Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt.einzigstes Manko: das System mit den Schliesfächern in der Umkleidekabine ist zu kompliziert das blickt kein Mensch.
