"Dream vacation - Fritz is very helpful. The cleaning lady does everything perfectly! There are many cycle paths right on the doorstep. Wonderful cellar alleys. Good shopping facilities. Will definitely be back soon!

"CP in the Weinviertel - Veltlinerlandcamping Poysdorf - First of all - we've never been to the Weinviertel (what a shame for Austrians). The "Veltliner-Campinplatz Poysdorf" is simply brilliant for getting to know the great hilly landscape and beautiful vineyards (and wines, nona). The site manager is at the campsite every day in the morning and in the afternoon for a good hour at a time, you can register in advance by email or phone and you will receive a prompt reply. You can then choose one of the free pitches yourself on arrival. These are comfortably large (approx. 10x10m), fairly level, electricity connections are not far away, as are water outlets. The sanitary building is always clean and well heated! Due to only about 50% occupancy when we were there, some toilets and showers (very large and practical with storage) were closed. The adjacent bathing lake can only be reached in a roundabout way. The campsite is accessible around the clock without barriers. Practical because of the above-mentioned manning of the reception, somewhat unpleasant if, as during our stay, vehicles are still arriving at 21:30 and maneuvering and parking in the dark with loud commands. You should have a bike with you, to Poysdorf to shopping facilities, wine taverns and restaurants but a good 2 km. Opposite the campsite is a large cable production plant, so the noise level is relatively high until 9pm. But that's all complaining on a high level, we'll definitely be back.

"Camping as it should be - Very friendly manager, provided detailed information about the local conditions (bakeries, supermarket, inns, wine taverns, cellar lanes, cycle routes, etc.), occasionally asked if everything was ok. Well-maintained sanitary facilities. Drinks sold on site, cycle/footpath into the village. The pitches are large, there is enough space for everything. The camping area is manageable, therefore little organizational effort.

Poysdorf - Austria´s "city of wine"! In the middle of the wine-growing area "Veltlinerland" and directly at the pond (suitable for swimming) the newly-built campsite "Veltlinerland-Campingplatz" is located. There all the people who love, know and enjoy wine meet to …taste wine or to sit together at "Heurige"-bars. Numerous walks and cycleways lead through alleys and the hilly landscape. The people of Poysdorf know how to celebrate: highlights are the so-called "wine-spring" (after Easter), the "wine-parade" (at Whitsun) and the local "wine-grower-celebration" (at the beginning of September). The inn "Teichwirt" is directly at the campsite; skating-park; playground; area for campfires; place to play ball games; caravans for rent; Cycleways and walks through the hilly landscape; lots of cultural sights such as museums or the church are worth seeing;
