Quiet campsite
Quiet campsite at the end of the world. Time has stood still in places. Clean swimming pool available. The sanitary facilities were not exactly clean at our time. Very friendly campsite operator. Only cash payment possible.

dilapidated caravans of campers on the site
very nice location
On some pitches there were completely dilapidated caravans and very unkempt pitches belonging to these people. Arrival and departure days were charged in full.

Ideal place to switch off. Short distance to Sonderho, the cozy little town without the hustle and bustle but with everything you need. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours through mudflats, heath, forest and dunes. Clean site, plots allow privacy and peace.

Really nice people at reception. Gunnar the Viking guy with a rough exterior. Everyone should book the breakfast in the small café - or try the homemade cakes. People with horses and ponies won't find anything better. Totally nice campsite and anyway - once Fanö - always Fanö . although Fanö in the sun is much better than Fanö with a week of rain.
