Camping & Lodge Our cozy camping and lodge is located by the shores of beautiful lake Sandsjön near the western mountains of Swedish Lapland, more precisely in Västerbotten. Are you longing for a relaxing family holiday with a choice of … leisure activities? Do you want to unwind and charge your batteries in the stillness of our vast space? Are you searching for a sleddog adventure in Swedish Lapland? Are you taking a fishing or ice fishing trip or seeking a base camp for your next adventure in Europe's last wilderness? Are you passing through and searching for a campsite for the night or two? The service facilities on-site are simple, but well kept. At our charming location you can enjoy a natural, genuine surrounding, a sandy beach, quietness and an awe-inspiring view on beautiful lake Sandsjön! Service such as showers, toilets, outhouse toilets and waste station are available all-year round. Dish washing hut, fresh water access and outlet shaft (latrine) for camping toilets and grey water available during main season in summer. ​In the backyard behind the main building there is a playground where children can play, climb, swing, slide and practice their skills on the trampoline. Sandsjögården’s area has 3 fireplaces for our guests. One is located directly at the beach​ and one is a small grill hut facing the lake. There you can make a fire and unwind, even when the weather is not thrilling. Our log fired sauna at the lake as well as several summer and winter activities can be booked via reception or directly from our adventures platform. Main season with full service, 1 June - 31 August. Winter season 20 December - 31 March.
