"Uncomplicated, great for children - A very cozy campsite under trees, there is almost always shade, just as the sun almost always shines through between the trees. Very tall pines (conifers) that still let in plenty of light without frying you. The site is located directly on the lake, slightly uphill. For motorhomes: think of wedges for driving up! 😉 The children can swim safely (the whole lake is overgrown, there are only small gaps. This is the 10 m wide area where the boats are loaded into the water). Fine sandy beach, gently sloping even in the water. There are no pitches, so you can set up wherever you like by prior arrangement. Dreamlike! The whole place is lovingly designed with wood carvings, information cards on fauna and flora, etc.

"Very nice vacation - We spent a week's vacation on the site.it is a very nice and quiet place in the forest.we were received and instructed very friendly by the staff, they were always ready to help with problems.it is a very nice and clean place, with many possibilities of leisure activities.there is a snack bar that also provides you with fresh bread rolls in the morning.the sanitary facilities were always clean.we liked it very much and we will go back next year.

"Beautifully situated campsite with a relaxed team - I was at the Mirow canoe station last weekend - actually as an alternative solution. The Fusion Festival was taking place nearby and although we wanted to visit the festival, we didn't want to be exposed to the constant noise - so the Mirow canoe station was a good alternative. We knew as soon as we arrived that we would definitely be back! A great site in the forest with a relaxed atmosphere - there are no parceled-out pitches, only a few pitches for caravans and motorhomes - but all the more tent pitches. The management is super cooperative and underlines the very relaxed atmosphere on the site. Another big advantage is, of course, the location directly on Lake Mirower See with connections to the entire Mecklenburg Lake District and - as the name suggests - a large canoe and kayak rental service. The beach is beautifully laid out and there are plenty of leisure facilities: badminton court, beach volleyball court, large chess set, football pitch, etc. There is a main sanitary building and a smaller toilet building as additional facilities. In the main building there are 4 showers each for men and women, the facilities are up to standard - cleanliness was always ok during our stay. Sometimes the floor in the showers was quite sandy, but this is due to the fact that the entire ground on the campsite is quite sandy and of course this cannot be avoided when the showers are very busy. The additional toilet building, where you can also wash up, is on the other side of the campsite and is much more simply equipped - but also offers everything you need. There are great wood carvings everywhere on the site, practical canopies in many places, which are worth their weight in gold when it rains, and lots of little details that show the special focus on water hikers with tents and simple equipment.
