Poor facilities. Indifferent service from the staff. No hot water. Barking dogs from nearby kennel.
Disappointment
We didn't expect luxury, but nevertheless we were quite disappointed. Location and the clear water is fine and that's it.

The proximity to Taranto is great
We actually only wanted to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Communication in English was no problem at all. The place is mainly used by ital. However, we also met a German and a Belgian couple. Adjacent to the campsite (the location under old pine trees is... unbeatable) is a hotel. There is free wifi. The beach is regulated by opening hours and is cleaned every morning. The sand cannot be soiled as no bottles or similar items may be taken onto the beach. There are plenty of parasols and sun loungers available. Adjacent to the hotel is a wonderful restaurant and bar. At lunchtime, the restaurant serves a buffet at affordable prices. One drawback is the use of the showers, which can only be used for an extra charge. There is also only cold water for washing up. There is a bus stop directly in front of the campsite from where you can travel to Taranto (7km). We really liked the campsite and will definitely be back.
