"Excellent for people who want peace - A campsite with fair prices and friendly and well-prepared staff. There are 3 toilets in all campsites and hot water is all the time. The camping sites are separated from each other by living fences formed by various bushes and trees; The beach is narrow 10 to 20 meters wide, with a mixture of sand with gravel. There are no restaurants or shops in the camping. At the exit of the camp is a shop and a restaurant (both expensive) and a large supermarket a few miles away. To the center of Skala Prinou are just over 1000 meters, where you can find many shops and restaurants.

"A place you should visit - We have been coming to this campsite for many years and a lot has changed for the better. Friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful pitches and a wonderful beach.

"Unfortunately not as imagined - The campsite is quite large and confusing, as there are very high hedges everywhere. That's why it's shady on the pitches, sometimes almost too shady. The access to the individual pitches is sometimes extremely narrow! So be sure to have a look at the pitch before you decide where you want to go. The beach is clean, stony and the water is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the problem on this site was that the permanent campers thought they owned everything. It was correspondingly noisy and unfortunately not particularly clean. The rest of the dinner was simply dumped on the neighboring pitch, even if someone (like us) was standing there. Accordingly, there are lots of ants and unfortunately we also saw rats running around. There is a supermarket right in front of the campsite. The wash houses have already been described as old, but in my opinion, even old sanitary facilities can be kept in good condition. And this was definitely not the case here. The front building, at the barrier, was old, broken, dirty and simply disgusting. The friendly cleaner made a real effort, but with such dilapidated sanitary facilities, all the cleaning no longer helps. Chipped/broken tiles, holes in the walls and ceiling, mold everywhere you look, broken doors that sometimes can no longer be locked, etc. There is another wash house, which was obviously renovated and much nicer than the other one, but here too there are visible signs of decay and that nobody cares. The few available water points on the site are occupied by the connections of the permanent campers. We didn't like it that much and that's why we moved on after a day's break. The price is simply too high for what is on offer here.

"Nature camping right by the sea - The campsite is located directly on the sandy beach. It is beautifully laid out. The pitches are separated by hedges. The sanitary buildings are a bit outdated, but very clean. Nice staff. Free Wifi at the reception. Supermarket right at the entrance. Fridges for everyone. ALWAYS HAPPY TO RETURN

" - The campsite is very quiet and has many large, shady pitches. The sanitary facilities are OK. You can walk to the village to eat in one of the tavernas. This year, apart from Bulgarians and Romanians, there were few German campers on the site. We found the stay on the campsite very good.

" - Quiet location, lots of shade, therefore unfortunately a little gloomy. Large pitches separated by hedges, therefore somewhat cramped. Lots of clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately lots of mosquitoes!

Camping Prinos – Experience Thassos Right by the Sea Camping Prinos is located in the village of the same name on the island of Thassos. Ferries from Kavala arrive in Prinos, and from the ferry port, the campsite is within …walking distance – very convenient for arriving guests. The campsite is spacious and surrounded by beaches on several sides, making it ideal for sea lovers. Our pitch was right by the water – a truly special experience! If you want to wake up to the sound of the waves, make sure to ask for a front-row spot when you check in. The toilets and washing facilities are large and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, making your stay even more enjoyable. There are several dining options both on the campsite and in the nearby village of Prinos. However, in our opinion, restaurants elsewhere on the island are more charming. Our top pick: the restaurant in the mountain village of Maries – the best and most beautiful on Thassos, in our view!
