"Was quite good but could be improved - It was a nice vacation, but we won't be back. Unfortunately there were too many minus points on our own scale. 50 cents for 4 minutes in the shower, if the machine doesn't just swallow the money. The machines are in the shower room and not in the shower cubicle. So if you need more time, please get out again wet and naked, as you can only insert 50 cents at a time. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities depended on the time of day and it has to be said that the cleaning staff did a great job, the people on the pitch are more to blame as very few people stick to the rule about shoes.

"Again and again Blank-Eck - This year was our 9th time on this site and we still feel very comfortable. The pitches are large enough to accommodate longer caravans and some have drinking water and gray water connections. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but always well maintained. The site owner and the entire staff are simply great. The beach is natural, but still offers good access to the water. There is a small store at the reception for breakfast rolls and other small items and a restaurant with delicious Greek cuisine at the entrance to the campsite.

"Very nice place - Very nice campsite, since 2024 there is a new WoMo pitch with electricity connection. Showers 4min/0,50€. Even a sauna on the upper floor of the sanitary facilities. In winter, the pitch on the cliffs is closed due to the weather. Owners are very friendly. Price/performance in winter 12,50€ for 2 adults + camper incl. electricity TOP.

"Not for friends of a good night's sleep - After an "adventurous" journey over the last 2 km before the campsite, the adventure of getting to the pitch continued. Thanks to the rainy weather in recent weeks, the pitch was quite soggy, which made it difficult to maneuver onto the sufficiently large pitch, especially on the narrow paths with deep, muddy potholes. The pitch is equipped with electricity, fresh water and gray water drainage. Unfortunately, many of the campers seem to have grown up in the stables, which is the only explanation for their behavior, especially in the sanitary building. The hard-working cleaning team had no chance of getting to grips with this mess. Playground with the "most necessary" play equipment, unfortunately a bit old.

"Light and shadow - We had reserved a pitch months in advance. After a 4-hour drive, we were told on arrival that the pitch would not be available until tomorrow. The staff were friendly and tried to rectify their booking error somehow. We were offered the option of squeezing our caravan and car onto the full tent pitch or right next to the playground and then moving to the booked pitch the next day. But that wasn't a solution for us. Fortunately, another guest canceled at the same time, so we were able to get his pitch. The path from reception to our pitch was very narrow in places and we had to maneuver at some of the turns. We know our camper van and its dimensions very well. Sometimes the vehicles of other guests were also blocking the lane. The groundsman should check this regularly. Our pitch was very large. Caravan, awning/awning and 2 cars easily fitted on it and you would still have some space. There is electricity and water directly on the pitch and satellite reception was also no problem. However, there were problems with mobile phone reception, as the site is probably in a huge dead zone. On the beach you have some reception, on the pitch it's not even good enough for WhatsApp messages, newspapers or Google Maps. This is not the site's fault, but it should be mentioned. There is free WiFi in a small area around the reception. We didn't notice anything of the military training area next door, it was probably the summer break. The beach is rocky, you can only lie on the sand in a few places. The restaurant (Greek) is serviceable, but there are better places outside the village. The sanitary facilities are modern. Unfortunately, you have to insert the shower coins outside the cubicle. If you have to throw in a towel, you can go to the vending machine. You can easily reach the surrounding area and Fehmarn from the site.

Blank-Eck is located in a quiet area between Heiligenhafen and Oldenburg, right on the natural beach of Hohwacht Bay and surrounded by fields and nature reserves. Here, you will hear the waves before your alarm clock and have the beach …practically on your doorstep. The campsite is family-run, pleasantly quiet, with many permanent campers and spacious pitches for holiday guests. Whether you have a tent, motorhome, caravan, or mobile home: if you are looking for sea views, lots of greenery, and genuine Baltic Sea air, this is the place for you. Dogs are very welcome and will find plenty of paths and corners for long walks in the surrounding area. The sanitary facilities are modern and well-maintained and offer rentable family and single bathrooms, barrier-free areas, washing machines, dryers, and a kitchen for cooking and washing up. Most of the hot water is provided by solar panels. For your daily needs, there is a small shop with a bread roll service and a restaurant right on the site. Blank-Eck is ideal for anyone who wants to actively experience the Baltic Sea: swimming, surfing, kite surfing, sailing, fishing, or taking your own boat out of the water via the slipway; many activities start right from the site. For children, there is plenty of space to play, run around, and explore on the playground and on the beach.
