The only downside is that the showers are generally very cramped; you really have to be careful to fit into those small, tight spaces. We were only at the campground for 4 days, but we really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful gravel site with a great view. A lovely outdoor pool, very friendly staff, and great indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. We’ll definitely be back.

The pool is very nice, but the water wasn’t warm enough. I’d been hoping for more, especially in the kiddie pool. So we couldn’t stay in the water for more than 15 minutes. Showering after swimming... was also a challenge. There are two showers at the pool for a quick rinse, but then you have to go to another building to take a proper shower. I don’t think that’s practical with small children. I’d like to see a shower right at the pool or a way to access the showers through the building. Unfortunately, even then, I don’t think the existing showers are suitable for showering with a child. The stalls are small, and the area in front of them gets flooded when you shower. Getting dressed with a child in the stall is very difficult. I also noticed a negative issue with the sinks in front of the showers. They were stained with toothpaste, regardless of the time of day.
The smaller restroom area, including the sink, near the playground was always spotlessly clean.
The staff were all very friendly, and the selection at the little shop right next to the front desk is great. Information about activities was posted every morning.

Das Personal ist top. Stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sämtliche Anlagen sind stets sehr sauber und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Nur Schade finden wir,daß es aufgrund... von Beschwerden einzelner Gäste in der Kaiseralm keine Musikalischen Abende an den Wochenenden mehr gibt. Ansonsten gilt für uns, Jederzeit gerne wieder. But here’s the catch.
For a family with two kids, it’s over 100 euros... a night! I have certain expectations at that price.
Unfortunately, the men’s restrooms weren’t clean!! This is often the guests’ fault, but at a 5-star resort, they simply need to be cleaned more often when occupancy is high. Other (more affordable) resorts manage to do this.
That means if they’re cleaned at noon, they’re still dirty in the evening and especially in the morning. There were times when I couldn’t find a clean toilet. Also, the drain plugs were missing here and there in the sinks, and the showers were quite cramped for someone of average build. In general, some work could be done here again. So, 1–2 stars for this.

We like the Z-sites. There’s plenty of space, and it’s airy.
