They even take the Franconian sense of humor in stride. There’s nothing negative to say about the campground. The only thing you might want to know is that there... are kids running around here. They laugh and run about. Retirees and those seeking constant peace and quiet shouldn’t come here. We thought the little ones were adorable. Only the grumbling lady bothered us. The new sauna area is great, and the pool is wonderful for a dip early in the morning to wake up or in the evening after a nice hike in the mountains. Unfortunately, the pool is the only criticism I have—when... we arrived, a notice stated that it was open until 8:00 p.m. On Saturday evening, the staff member responsible for cleaning the pool decided to close it as early as 7:30 p.m. because only three guests were still swimming laps. Guests who arrived later were turned away. This apparently led to a few discussions between the guests and the staff member, after which she spontaneously decided on Sunday to close the pool as early as 6:00 p.m. The notices regarding this were also changed just as spontaneously over the course of Sunday. Unfortunately, this is completely unacceptable! If, as a guest, I’ve planned to go for a swim at 7:00 p.m. after returning from a hike, then I expect that to be possible, especially if that’s what was communicated the day before. Leaving this decision to someone in charge of cleaning is a no-go if that person acts solely based on personal feelings because a guest complained to her directly! After all, the campground advertises its facilities and charges guests for them.
Conclusion: The campground, location, facilities, and staff at the front desk and in the small supermarket are top-notch! However, one person is tarnishing the overall impression!

We were only at the campground for 4 days, but we really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful gravel site with a great view. A lovely outdoor pool, very friendly staff, and great indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. We’ll definitely be back.

The pool is very nice, but the water wasn’t warm enough. I’d been hoping for more, especially in the kiddie pool. So we couldn’t stay in the water for more than 15 minutes. Showering after swimming... was also a challenge. There are two showers at the pool for a quick rinse, but then you have to go to another building to take a proper shower. I don’t think that’s practical with small children. I’d like to see a shower right at the pool or a way to access the showers through the building. Unfortunately, even then, I don’t think the existing showers are suitable for showering with a child. The stalls are small, and the area in front of them gets flooded when you shower. Getting dressed with a child in the stall is very difficult. I also noticed a negative issue with the sinks in front of the showers. They were stained with toothpaste, regardless of the time of day.
The smaller restroom area, including the sink, near the playground was always spotlessly clean.
The staff were all very friendly, and the selection at the little shop right next to the front desk is great. Information about activities was posted every morning.

Das Personal ist top. Stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sämtliche Anlagen sind stets sehr sauber und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Nur Schade finden wir,daß es aufgrund... von Beschwerden einzelner Gäste in der Kaiseralm keine Musikalischen Abende an den Wochenenden mehr gibt. Ansonsten gilt für uns, Jederzeit gerne wieder. But here’s the catch.
For a family with two kids, it’s over 100 euros... a night! I have certain expectations at that price.
Unfortunately, the men’s restrooms weren’t clean!! This is often the guests’ fault, but at a 5-star resort, they simply need to be cleaned more often when occupancy is high. Other (more affordable) resorts manage to do this.
That means if they’re cleaned at noon, they’re still dirty in the evening and especially in the morning. There were times when I couldn’t find a clean toilet. Also, the drain plugs were missing here and there in the sinks, and the showers were quite cramped for someone of average build. In general, some work could be done here again. So, 1–2 stars for this.

Everything at the campground is extremely well organized, and the service team has a friendly and practical solution for every problem. For experienced campers, the free use of the dishwasher is an absolute highlight.
