Good location
We got off to a bad start. Check-in was delayed due to an alleged computer problem. While my wife was at reception, after a quarter of an hour I was asked to choose a pitch. As the pitches don't have numbers, this made no sense to me, but what can you do. Fifteen minutes later I was back with my desired... pitch, but nobody was interested. After another 10 minutes, I became a little impatient because it was getting too warm for our dogs in the motorhome at 30°C. When I asked, I was asked to drive to the desired pitch. If it had been up to me, I would have left the campsite now, but my wife is more patient, which is why she didn't mind waiting at reception. She arrived at the pitch less than 20 minutes later. (You could also have said "Go and stand somewhere and come back later")

Anyone expecting shade here has a problem. In 2018, Hurricane Leslie razed almost all the trees to the ground. Hundreds of new trees were planted, but it will be at least another 10 years before these young trees provide any shade worth mentioning.
There is a rear exit to the beach. There is an intercom system at the gate, simply press the call button and the door will be opened. There is also a corresponding button on the opposite side. At the beginning of June there were only 4 people/couples on the beach within sight.
The pitches are sandy, partly with grass and rather uneven. Overall it was very quiet, no street noise either. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance. Free WLAN in the reception area. Inviting pool area, but unfortunately closed (06.06.23 - 15:30).
The sanitary area is older but impeccably clean. Unfortunately we were pestered by flies which were omnipresent despite the wind.

Car park entrance times close too early. 00:00 would be ideal for a park in Portugal.
A good park. Welcoming, clean and well located.
Well-located park, away from the hustle and bustle of the nightlife, but a 5-minute drive away. Polite staff, clean environment and direct access to the beach. The pool is good and the food is good value for money.

Far from town (paid parking) and very dangerous to cycle into town (crossing a bridge with no cycle path).
Quiet campsite but far from the city.
The campsite makes you feel at home. Around the campsite, old industrial area and the outside of the campsite (road approach, see the beach) deserves better maintenance (garbage).
