The biggest asset that the small and quiet Lakeview Cannobio Camping & Resort (ex Camping Bosco) has to offer is the beautiful view over Lake Maggiore with the surrounding mountain landscape. The site is close to the sociable town of … Cannobio. The site is particularly suitable for tent campers and couples; this campsite is less suitable for families with children and teenagers. You will meet many Dutch and German campers here. Terrace campsite This shady site is small and well laid out. It is particularly suitable for tent campers, but caravans and motorhomes can also be parked here. The pitches are on terraces and vary in size. There are no boundaries and the ground is grass. The rentals (mobile homes) are a bit old-fashioned, but clean. A busy road runs past the site, and there can be noise pollution, especially during the morning rush hour. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but everything looks clean and is within easy reach for everyone. Private beach Lake Maggiore is very close by: From the campsite you walk under the road in a few minutes to the private grassy beach with many free deckchairs. You can swim in the lake. Surfing, white water rafting, kayaking, rafting and water skiing are also possible and allowed. Tip: Take bathing shoes with you because of the stones in the water. There are not many facilities on the site. Small camping shop There is a small shop for everyday necessities and a bar. There is also a bread service. In Cannobio, a 10-minute drive from the campsite, you will find two supermarkets and a sociable boulevard with many small terraces and restaurants. To get to Cannobio you need a car (or bicycle). - Camping area with perfect lake view from every pitch! - new shower and toilet facilities (renovation 2022/2023) - private beach with sunbathing lawn, exclusively for our guests - buoy or jetty available for your boat - Washing machines on site - Sustainable and ecologically exemplary: largely CO2 neutral and almost energy self-sufficient - short distances and a familiar environment: we are not a large campsite - Bread roll service - Restaurant with bar directly on the campsite - Hire of barbecues (charcoal) for campers
