"Disappointing - And the pitch was too big. The sanitary facilities were not big enough for the number of campers. (We know from many campsites that every square meter is turned into a pitch, but the service points are not upgraded accordingly. ) Some sanitary facilities are too small. Only a few lockable washbasins, which could relieve the shower situation). Chemical toilet disposal dirty. Cleaning service at lunchtime cleans the floor (which is dirty again in no time due to all the sand). Due to the fact that there are too few of all services, it gets very dirty very quickly. Beach: Very shallow, narrow period (tide) for swimming, but very quiet. The place was a desert of dust. On the main path you are actually constantly sitting in the swirling dust. You also have to look for water taps.

"Great location - The campsite has a great location. We had one of the pitches right on the beach. The site is on the east side of the island, so the sea is quite calm. The approach to our pitch was quite adventurous. We had to drive our caravan along a narrow path between other pitches and trees, but thanks to the energetic help of the other vacationers, most of whom were French, we managed. There is a beautiful, long beach right on the doorstep, with the opportunity to walk to other beaches. It is a good 20-minute walk to Noirmoutier-en-Île, or even better if you take a bike.

"Great location, rest could be improved. - The location is the best. Had a nice tent pitch on the front line. Fortunately no motorhomes are allowed in this area. Sanitary facilities not clean and toilets extremely cramped. Lots of motorhomes on the site. We would definitely look for an alternative site next time on the Nourmoutier.

"All in all top! - We stayed here for two nights and were treated very kindly. I can only agree with the previous speakers. So there is hardly anything to add. We wanted to do laundry. However, the washing machine there showed an error message when we tried. A quick message at reception and the site's own "technician" took care of the fault and then informed us at our pitch that everything was working again. The prices are excellent thanks to ADAC. The sanitary facilities are clean and once you've found out which shower has really hot water, you really enjoy taking a shower. The only complaints are the mosquitoes and the strange pitch occupancy. With our small camper (comparable to a VW Bully) we were only allowed to use a pitch further away from the beach. However, the big monster campers of the mostly local guests were allowed to park much closer to the beach. Perhaps there are reasons for this...

"Camping on the island's Baltic Sea - There were 4 of us and a dog here for a week in July 2017. The site was well frequented, but not full. There are many pitches for tent/WW/WMOBIL. Electricity, water and lighting are within easy reach, as are the sanitary facilities. The paths are graveled, so it can get quite dusty. We recommend the pitches by the sea, the view is really beautiful. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but they are very clean and really easy to use. There are several sanitary facilities across the long site. The staff are unobtrusive and yet very friendly. We really enjoyed our week here, there were very few Germans here :), we can recommend the site with a clear conscience.

" - Only pitches in the shade at the front of the site. The front pitches are only for tents or small caravans. The sanitary facilities have a colonial style, but they are getting on in years. A lot of effort is made to keep the facilities clean. The beach in the bay slopes quickly. We liked it anyway.
