Sanitary facilities are very outdated.Green spaceIt couldn't be greener in the countryside! The site is wonderfully situated in the forest, but also has open areas. However, these are very sloping. There are fewer pitches that are reasonably straight. If you are equipped accordingly, you will find a wonderful place. The sanitary facilities are really... getting on in years but are spotlessly clean. If you are not looking for a luxury campsite, but for peace and nature, this is the place for you. The site is practically empty at the beginning of September. The owner speaks a little German and is very friendly. The campsite is in a beautiful setting in the middle of the woods. Anyone who comes here should know that this is really an EARTH campsite, not a parceled herring box!!! Peace, quiet and tranquillity surrounds all visitors. The bathrooms are... retro style, BUT THEY ARE!!! The buffet prices are not expensive, anywhere you go in the country you will find the same or more expensive prices. The campground has a poultry yard with different kinds of birds and several dogs. Our kids love them, they are extremely friendly animals and don't bother us at all with their presence. There are many hiking trails in the area and lots of activities (Eger, Szilvásvárad, Lillafüred, Aggtelek, Miskolctapolca, and I could go on and on).
The hosts are very nice, friendly and helpful.
