"beautifully situated for hiking and cycling - Beautifully situated site, right next to the dunes. Wonderful for hiking and cycling. A bread roll service out of season would be nice.

"Beautiful location, moderate infrastructure, poor price-performance ratio - We stayed at this campsite on Ascension Day 2014. Very expensive. Pitches on various meadow areas. Generally sunny. The campsite has an old, small swimming pool, which is not really inviting for swimming in terms of appearance and facilities (e.g. changing rooms in the bathroom but knee-high foot shower in the entrance area, so you definitely have to go in without pants). Sanitary facilities inadequate. They are located centrally in the pitch area in container-like buildings. For men there are 4 toilets and a few showers in the mixed wash house. No hand washing facilities in the toilets. Cleaning once a day but inadequate given the high frequency of use. Water drips from the showers more than it runs. The location right on the edge of the border forest is beautiful. Good opportunities for walks with children and dogs. Taking dogs is no problem but expensive (€4 and therefore more expensive than the regular price for a child! - who wants to understand that). No food supply on site (except chaotic bread roll service) but shopping facilities 3 - 10 km away. Restaurant and chip shop on site - correspondingly simple cuisine. You can stay there for a few days, but it's outrageously expensive on popular bridge days and the price-performance ratio is not right. All in all, the Anlöage and the staff make a hard-working but overworked impression. We will probably not go there again.
