The character of an active farm is unmistakable without being intrusive. The grounds are very well-kept and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Chickens, horses and alpacas contribute to this overall picture.
You have to get to grips with the concept of the (very clean) unisex sanitary facilities... and the associated washing-up area.
Hot water is available at all water points and the showers are inclusive and uninterrupted.
In many places there are products from the farm with a cash register. There are also additional offers during the opening hours of the farm store.
The surrounding area offers, for example, a vending machine with apple products (card + cash payment possible) within walking distance and a bakery in the village with a wide range of products during normal opening hours. In addition, the snack point next door offers all the snack options you might associate with the NL and more at reasonable prices from the afternoon onwards.
In the cold season, however, the lack of heating in the sanitary facilities is a not inconsiderable shortcoming. In this respect, the closure of the campsite for the winter is quite understandable.
Otherwise, however, it is a good and relaxed place to stay for mobile explorers or meetings of families or other groups looking for a nice place to stay.
