"Great place in beautiful surroundings - Great place with lots of entertainment value for all age groups. The location of the campsite is perfect for various excursions, whether by car, bike or on foot.

"Saty away! - Worst Camping Nightmare at Camping Park Umag! OUR 2025 stay at Camping Park Umag was a total disaster, the worst camping experience ever. The camper pitch they gave us was a joke—blocked by a tree and a lamp, making parking impossible. I complained at reception, and they offered three even worse pitches, like they were mocking me. The pitch I ended up with, outrageously overpriced, was 12-15 meters from a deafening national road. Non-stop traffic noise ruined every moment, day and night. No hot water in facilities for the entire stay. When I begged for help, the rude staff sneered and told me to drag my dishes and shower stuff to another facility. Disgusting attitude! The worst part? My son was injured on their football pitch—a ball smashed into his head, leaving his eye bloody and swollen. It was evening, so we rushed to the nearest hospital in Izola’s (Slovenia), stuck there all night, and were slapped with a €900 bill. I pleaded with the manager, Thomas, to at least waive that day’s fee since we were in the hospital for 24 hours. His response? A heartless shrug, telling me to hunt down the kid who kicked the ball. He didn’t care about the hot water or the unbearable road noise. He smirked and said, “Write a bad review.” What a smug jerk! The staff were stressed, useless, and downright nasty, ignoring every complaint. This place is a rip-off, filthy, unsafe, and a complete waste of money. Save yourself the misery—avoid Camping Park Umag at all costs! Even if it were free, I’d rather sleep on the street. Thank goodness we had other stops planned. This hellhole deserves zero stars—stay away!

"Large space right by the sea - Camping Park Umag is a large site with nice big pitches. The pool area is spacious. What is missing here is a pool for smaller children (water height approx. 1.20 cm) and slides for older children. The stores are very well distributed on the site, but the supermarket is very expensive. (approx. 20% - 40%). Everyone can find a spot on the beach, but a continuous barrier between swimmers and the boat would have been nice here too. We only met very nice staff. The staff at the Canova Pool entrance deserve special mention. Friendly and always ready to lend a helping hand. Top! Unfortunately, the cars park wildly on green areas to shorten the way to the sea or pool (the paths are not far here). Or they park on green spaces to make the large pitches even bigger. What was really annoying were the e-scooters and the corresponding driving style (too fast through pedestrians, no lights, 8-year-olds driving at 20 km/h through crowds of pedestrians) and the cleanliness. Perhaps larger wash houses and more staff would be a solution. There is no lunch break here, it is recommended from 14:00 - 16:00, nobody sticks to it and it is not checked.

"Nice, big camping village - We stayed there for 5 nights. The campsite area is very large, so there are big distances to cover by walk/bicycle. The infrastructure is very good, everything can be found inside the area. The grocery store is very expensive, other stores, restaurants are acceptable. There are a lot of opportunities to discover, very long varying beach. The swimming pool areas are superb, the kids loved them. The quality, size of classic pitches are varying. We have booked 2 pitches. One of them was absolutely ok without problems. The second had very bad location. It was not even on the map, next to footpath and waste bins, manhole covers on the pitch. If we had only this pitch, it would be a negative experience.

"Beautiful vacation - The site is beautifully situated on a bay and has 2 pools, which are beautifully situated and in good condition. Most cars drive far too fast on the campsite itself, and the speed bumps don't help. Electric scooters drive wildly across the site at top speed. The staff were friendly and helpful, both in the restaurant and at reception. However, you have to allow for some waiting time.

Camping at the 4-star Park Umag campsite is a family affair. You come for the sun and sea, the morning and evening activities, barbecues by the sea and walks in the park full of native plants and herbs. You bring …your caravan or a tent. We put on a show, make ice cream and cook Istrian delicacies. Send the children to the water playground by the pool while you play a game of tennis or volleyball. A few more people are needed for a game of football. Get fresh fish from the beach stand and grill it at the barbecue area while the children watch satellite TV. The Park Umag campsite offers two pool complexes, one of which is new, with water attractions, slides and sprinklers for unforgettable fun for the whole family! Pitches are neat, on well-kept soft grass, some with natural shade. The campsite itself is immaculate and well maintained, respecting the natural environment and doing its best to be green and sustainable. Most pitches have electricity and water hook-ups, while the ‘Luxury Mare’ seaside pitches even have their own barbecue and shower. Choose your pitch from the largest and those right by the sea, or pick a pitch in perfect shade closer to the kids' clubs and activity areas. Design your holiday exactly as you want it. At the mini-clubs, the little ones can keep themselves busy for hours drawing, singing and making new friends. Our staff will take care of them. Playgrounds are everywhere. The Camping Park offers a variety of activities every day. Take a bike ride or jog along the coastal path through the campsite. There are tennis courts on site, as well as a tennis school if you want to work on your slice. Play beach volleyball on soft sand; basketball, football and volleyball courts are also available. It's just as fun on the beach – you can go windsurfing, pedal boating, canoeing and much more. Bicycles are easy to rent using the automatic city bike and e-bike rental system. Did we mention how close Umag is? Hop on a bike and explore the area.Camping Park Umag is pet-friendly and pets are allowed on certain pitches in the areas marked on the map.
