You have to travel long distances by car or bicycle to have a cultural or social life.Quiet, rural, relaxing, far away from everythingWe wanted to visit the Memorial de Verdun and were rewarded with this little gem while looking for a pitch. There is nothing here except meadows, fishing ponds and agriculture all around. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
You can easily get to the nearby towns by car.
There is no reception. You... find your own pitch.
In the morning, someone cleans the sanitary facilities and collects the fee, which is now €15. Regardless of whether you have used electricity or not.
The toilets are new and the showers have plenty of water. Wi-Fi is free and good.

You are very quickly in the exciting surroundings of the traces of the First World War around Verdun.

The sanitary facilities are very basic but were very clean, at least during our short stay.
The groundsman was very friendly and everything ran smoothly. We arrived at around 2300 hrs and left at around 0900 hrs.
We paid in the morning.
We would choose this site again at any time for a short stay.

Suitable for tents and camper vans. We were generally positively surprised. Large meadows & fruit trees for camping, two lakes with land bridge (also for camping), sanitary facilities rudimentary at first glance but very clean/good. Toilet paper, bread rolls, wine/beer.
