Family-run campsite by the river and close to the town.
The site is located directly on the river Tarn and only 700 meters from the center of the very attractive old town with its many good restaurants. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated but in very good condition and very clean. Bread and croisants can be ordered at the reception the day before.... Drinks and other snacks are also available. A small restaurant with a small menu can be used. The pitches, which are separated by hedges, are mostly spacious. Satellite reception is usually possible, but not everywhere due to tall trees. The pitches and sanitary facilities are well-kept and clean. The host family is very open-minded, friendly and helpful. The location of the site directly on the river with swimming opportunities and a view of the Puoncho mountain opposite is fantastic. When the weather is fine, you can watch countless paragliders and hang-gliders in the sky. Excursions to the magnificent gorges of the Tarn, the Jonte, the Dourbie and the Trevezel are a must. The magnificent landscape of the Cévennes and the largest and highest highway bridge in Europe (Millau Viaduct) are unique.

The square is located on the Tarn, on the other side of which runs a main road that is noisy during the day. The town center is only a few hundred meters away. The pitch and sanitary facilities were fine.

The site itself is absolutely fine. We were there with a tent at the end of September, on a Thursday. There is a bar in the immediate vicinity with very loud music from around 9pm until around 3am. The last of the bawling guests finally left around four and it became quiet.

Okay for one night, but otherwise not really recommended. Cleanliness and friendliness leave a lot to be desired...
