Robert K.май 2014great place for Ajaccio excursionEasy to reach, convenient location on the outskirts of Porticcio, slight noise pollution as the road passes directly by. Very shady, there are lots of tall trees and the pitches are separated by hedges - of different heights! The campsite is quite large, there are 4 sanitary buildings with some older... facilities - curious: the outdoor urinal... WiFi for a fee; restaurant (snack bar) on site - but apparently only open in season - during our stay (May 31) it was still closed... There is a small pool and a nice, well-equipped children's playground. There are also a lot of rental bungalows, all with nice terraces! In front of the campsite there is a "Centre Commercial" with a bakery/pastry shop (also open on Sundays), a snack restaurant, hairdresser, souvenir store, tobacconist with lots of magazines, a grocery store with Corsican specialties and a petrol station. There are two supermarkets about 2 kilometers away. In the "center" of Porticcio, about 3 km away, there is the possibility to take a boat to Ajaccio. You got the impression that the walls hadn't been cleaned for a long time. We also had a visit from birds in the men's showers, which spent the night there. Well located for a visit to Ajaccio,... there is a bus connection to Ajaccio, but only twice a day. Otherwise you can take the boat to Ajaccio, but the landing stage is about 3 km from the campsite.
