Perfect vacation
Sometimes everything just fits together so that you can only award the highest score! After driving through the night and a long search for a campsite, we ended up at "Il Borgo" by chance and got the last free pitch. We felt very comfortable from the very first minute. We spent a lot of time at the pools,... which were just great for both the early-swimming mom and the kids. We will always remember that our 5-year-old learned to swim here! We bought our food in Cecina - and the large COOP is highly recommended! Our favorite place to go to the sea was Rosgnagno on the white beach. A trip to Pisa was also easy to do by car. There was no playground worth mentioning for our small children on the campsite, but the pools made up for this without any problems. We were always helped in a very friendly manner and the bar/restaurant served good Italian delicacies. We found it very pleasant that (despite it being the beginning of August) there was no animation noise!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Beautifully located campground at vacation park. 2 nice swimming pools, restaurant with terrace and small store. Plumbing old and not very clean. Sometimes at the end of the day no hot water. Pitches are mostly higher under pine trees. Spacious sites. Rather expensive, but the campsites in Italy are pretty expensive anyway. Strategic location between coast and inland.
