Quiet, Well-Organized Campground
We’ve been coming here to the campground with our grandchildren (3) since 2017, and sometimes just the two of us—my wife and I. As already noted, the restroom facilities are kept in excellent condition by the staff member, even though it’s not always easy. Let me put it this way: Unfortunately, as is... the case everywhere, there are guests who weren’t exactly raised with good manners. They’d rather leave good and clean behavior to others. You notice this time and again in the dishwashing area, UNFORTUNATELY. Or in the restroom. The campground itself is very well laid out, and the sites are relatively large, which is a plus. Although the campground is located right in the middle of town, it’s nice and quiet in the evenings. I found the campground manager to be friendly and open, and you can tell she always makes an effort to fulfill the requests brought to her. The campground is ideal for families with children—the little ones have plenty of space and can really run around and play to their hearts’ content.
This campground is also very well suited for campers who have a dog. One more thing worth mentioning: The beach is a good 45–50-minute walk away if you’re walking briskly. But you’ll be rewarded with a great dog-friendly beach (all sand). Bottom line: if you’re looking for a beautiful spot that’s also quite affordable, then you’ll be in very good hands at this campground. My wife, our dog, and I will definitely be back to this campground again.

Because Cuxhaven was fully booked all around, we got a good little pitch here! Guided by the automatic telephone inquiry, almost like the real thing, the operator then welcomed us and showed us the pitch. The reception and contact was very nice. The site is well laid out and offers plenty of space for... holidaymakers as well as permanent campers. The connection to the sea and to Cuxhaven is very good by bike. The restaurant on site is a "must"! The food and service were very good. We felt very comfortable here! We would love to come here again.

Small but nice place
We stayed at the campsite in October 2022.
Despite the main road, the location is very quiet.
There are plenty of shops in the immediate vicinity.
The staff were always friendly.
The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly.
We will be back.

No water connection at the pitch or nearby, only at the sanitary building. W-Lan almost impossible
Beautiful CP in a central location
Beautiful yet central location. Shopping in the immediate vicinity. Well-kept grounds also in the san area. The first tasty bread rolls we've ever had on a campsite.
