We loved the peace and quiet and the location of the campsite, the cleanliness in all areas, the service - simply everything!

Relaxation and tranquillity in nature
We arrived as a couple, were welcomed very nicely and for the dog (Labrador) there was a welcome package, which we were very surprised about. As beginner campers, we were given a quiet pitch with a view of the lake. It was a perfect time out for us, quiet, fresh bread rolls every morning, very tasty... homemade cakes and pastries at the weekend. On the last evening we treated ourselves to dinner.
The owners Tina and Jörg are a wonderful team :) - always friendly, always up for a chat, for excursions or questions they were both very helpful.
What really impressed us - they both do everything they can to make guests feel at home. This includes more than just a friendly smile. They were always out and about on the campsite - cleaning the sanitary facilities, pulling weeds, mowing the lawn, watering, etc. It's being renovated, it's evolving and we're very excited to see what it will look like next time.
We looked at the whole site and found that the price/performance ratio is positive, the overall impression conveys a "home feeling" and dogs are welcome :), as long as you read the house rules and don't just walk past them so that the dog can quickly pee on the hedge or the cars, run around the site without a lead and then put its sausage down between the campers - without it being picked up." It's only a small dog" - it's impertinent and infinitely ignorant towards other guests and also the operators. We had nothing to complain about, will definitely be back and have already recommended it to others.

The welcome was very friendly and quick.
There was even a welcome gift for my dog. Apart from that, the pitches are sufficient and you can really relax.
I was only there for the weekend and I really liked it.
The sanitary facilities were clean. Ä

19€ for a tent is not among the cheapest, but it's worth the little extra money.
Very pleasant
This campsite has it all. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even quite easy to find.

Nice campsite, showers are clean, nice and quiet

Playground defective not usable, bathing area should be cleared, food offer was not really there, Electricity for camping was very difficult, the outdoor area should be cleared of the fallen trees looks very loveless. The jetty was also broken but then it was repaired but unfortunately the jetty was not even closed off which is a real shame

Dear Maik,
yes, unfortunately the short summer storm caused a lot of damage! During the summer season, we wanted to do without the noise for the benefit of all our guests - of course the eye was clouded as a result. But we will have repaired the damage by next year.
Our food offer is based on demand... - many guests cook/barbecue themselves. That's why we've had to reduce the range even further - what a shame. I go to great lengths when it comes to emergency rations (e.g. for a hungry cyclist) and am happy to recommend restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, that's all we can do.
We would be delighted if you would like to visit us again!

Quiet and relaxing, nicely secluded from the hustle and bustle. Nice couple who run the place with heart and soul, always nice and courteous. Even when it gets crowded at the reception. Clean sanitary facilities which are cleaned several times a day. Everything was great, including the food in the restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful time.

We received a very friendly welcome, very nice hosts, who also offer a manageable range of restaurants and a bread roll service. Nice large pitches for the motorhomes. The sanitary facilities are very clean.

We stayed here for 6 days and really enjoyed the peace and quiet and can only recommend the campsite.

Water connection, gray water connection and electricity directly at the pitch. Black water disposal only a few meters on foot. Modern and very clean sanitary facilities. The site is generally very well maintained. Pitches and meadows neatly mown.

Very nice quiet campsite
The owners gave us a very friendly welcome and made us feel immediately at home. They always had an open ear for us campers and were very helpful.
The bread roll service and the afternoon cake offer were great. The small gastronomic offer Friday to Sunday is also perfectly adequate.
The area is ideal... for walks and hikes. You can also follow in the footsteps of history.
All in all, we had very nice, relaxing days and will definitely come back again.

Quiet, nice operators, small gastronomy offer, baked bread service

Quiet location in the middle of nowhere
We stayed at the campsite for a few days in the 2nd half of September 2021. We had previously reserved a pitch with a view of the lake. On arrival, we were welcomed by the nice operator, who immediately showed us our pitch and gave us what felt like a 20kg Leitz folder with tips for excursions ;-) .... The pitches are not parceled out, but the operator knows roughly where you should stand. However, our towing vehicle should not be parked next to the caravan after unhitching, but in separate parking spaces near the entrance. We were able to live with this as we always had a view of the car from our caravan. The pitch consists mainly of grass. Wheel chocks should be taken because of slight unevenness in the ground. Electricity is always nearby, but it's better to take a cable reel with you.
There is also a small catering offer with a small menu directly at the reception. However, during our stay this was only offered at the weekend. The food and drink was very tasty and reasonably priced. There are also baked rolls for breakfast, but these are just the usual supermarket rolls from the freezer. Better than nothing.
The only negative thing I noticed was the sanitary facilities. During our stay, there were only showers in the wooden huts, which were quite far away. And even there, there were only 2 shower cubicles for the men. Probably not enough for the whole site in high season. There is also a container facility with toilets directly in the entrance area. However, the cubicles are not fully enclosed, so you can sit there even when it's cold and windy. However, everything is clean and well maintained.
Otherwise, it's a shame that this campsite is in the middle of nowhere. The nearest freeway can only be reached via many kilometers of substandard country roads. There is a mini store on site, but shopping facilities are only available in the next town.

We just love the fact that we are in the middle of nowhere :-)
The lake, the peace and quiet, the fresh air, the relaxed people and the nature (now we even have more and more cranes) are the ideal conditions to relax. You can discover beautiful... "corners" by bike and/or car - that's the name of our thick excursion folder for different target groups.
According to our guests, there was no congestion at the showers - not even in summer. But we have also given it some thought, and when the showers in the front area are connected, we hope to make everyone happy.
