Long-term campground away from the beach and the city
The campground is located a few kilometers from the beach and the tourist hotspot Benidorm, both of which are within biking distance. Supermarkets and restaurants are about 5 km away. There is a large pool complex and an indoor pool, as well as a small, very expensive mini-shop at the front desk. The... restaurant there caters to British customers. Over 80% of the campground consists of bungalows and long-term campers, with a few tourist sites in the middle section in between. About 95% of the guests are English. The three restroom buildings are showing their age; many faucets are broken or missing entirely, and the water temperature in the showers is also random. The sinks are so close together that there’s no place to set things down or hooks for towels. The electrical box is locked, and upon arrival we had to wait about 2 hours for it to be unlocked; upon departure, we also had to keep asking and pleading for someone to come so we could remove our power cord. Thanks to ACSI, we had 4 kW of free electricity per day. Most sites are occupied by long-term campers, and the ground is compacted, hard gravel, measuring about 90 square meters. The access roads are paved and wide enough.
We won’t be coming back.
