Partly unfortunate pitch layout. Quite full as one of the few sandy beaches. Lots of anglers :-)
5 stars are always a matter of taste
For the extremely high price range of 30 pounds / night / camper, 2P, electricity, the place is borderline. Although there is little to complain about in terms of facilities (no shelves in the showers, no hooks on the washbasins), there are pitch areas where the pitches are simply not demarcated and... you stand in three rows between two driveways. This leads to a bit of confusion and walking across. It is a good thing that the plots are indicated on the electricity connections, otherwise it would probably be completely crosswise. The site is located directly on a beach and offers a pub, snack bar and restaurant as well as a swimming pool and a beach bar with burgers etc.. The direct access to the sea probably justifies the price if you want to swim or fish (lots of anglers - sometimes smelly at mealtimes ...). The facilities in the wash houses are good but not above average. The stars are based on the surrounding area, which sometimes means music after 23:00 on weekdays.

The location and the very good organization of the place!
Fantastically beautiful location!
We liked this place very much! It is located directly by the sea and the pitches are very large. 3-4 tents or a very large caravan, motor caravan or tent trailer fit on one pitch. you can walk to the small romantic Pentawan, where there is also a petrol station and post office. the site itself has 3... different catering options. W-Lan is free of charge in the Seahorseclub. Indoor swimming pool with slide and whirlpool are included in the price. in nearby St. Austell there are great shopping facilities: Alldi and ASDA which is open around the clock 7 days a week! Cash machines are available at petrol stations and ASDA!
