The campsite is located directly on the coast of the North Sea, between Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven in the great holiday region of Cuxland/Wurster Land. It is located right in front of an embankment, providing you with a completely free view … of the North Sea and the mud flats in front of it. Not just watersports fans, cyclists and sun lovers come here, but nature-lovers too. From walking in the mud flats up to the shell and seal shores, bathing in the open sea to the haul of returning shrimp boats - if you spend your camping holiday on the North Sea coast by Wurst you can hear the sea breathe. The Lower Saxony embankment museum in Dorum shows the history of the construction of the embankment on the Lower Saxony coast. It is the only museum in Europe which exclusively deals with the topic of the construction of embankments and coastal protection. You also shouldn't miss a visit to the ""Obereversand"" light tower, also renowned as the highest light tower in the mud flats of Wurst, and enjoy the view over land and sea. By the way: The Campingpark Spieka/Wattenmeer, located on a green meadow, is also managed by Campingpark Dorum.
