Quiet location
Clean place, very friendly staff
We were there for an overnight stay. The site is very quiet and the upper part is shaded by tall trees. There is a slightly heated pool with a baby area for refreshment. The sanitary area is ok, but very basic. There don't seem to have been any changes here since the last review in 2012, but at least... it was clean. The children's playground is getting on in years and kept relatively simple. On the stairs to the slide, the bottom step had been removed and replaced by a Euro pallet-well. The shelves in the store were partly empty, perhaps because we were there in the low season? At least there was bread and beer; cold cuts etc. were also available. A restaurant/excursion restaurant is right next door, there is a 10% discount for campers. The site seems to be heavily used by hikers and cyclists as a base for excursions. Positive: there was no departure time by which you had to be off the site. Overall the site was good for a stopover, I would also want to stay there for a weekend.

We stayed at this campsite for one night in November and the pitches for tourists are in the upper part of the site. They are spacious and level. The sanitary building is old and looks very run down. The restaurant has a good reputation. The supermarket is well stocked and has fresh baked goods every day.

Beautiful surroundings!
Beautiful place
We were on this site with 2 families (4 adults and 6 children) over Ascension Day! It was a very nice weekend. The sanitary facilities did not convince us in the upper part, as everything seemed very old and simple, so we always went to the lower part! The temperatures were also more pleasant there (outside... temperatures of about 10 C), as the upper facilities were open all the way down (which is only known from the south). You can walk around the lake and see lots of things in the surrounding area. The staff were very nice. We would visit this place again.

We stayed at this campsite for the first time, 5 of us (2 adults, 1 4-year-old and two 6-month-old twins) with a friend visiting for three days. We were surprised by the friendly welcome and availability of the whole team. The campsite is clean and tidy, and our mobile home was new, well-equipped and... sufficient to accommodate us all. The store has everything you need to tide you over, as well as a good bakery corner (mmmmh the baguette)! For further provisions, supermarkets are located less than 8 km away. The campsite is just opposite the Lac de Bouzey dam. There's plenty of walking nearby. There's new entertainment on offer every day, and the swimming pool refreshes us when the need arises. The bar/restaurant with its terrace is pleasant and the food is of a high standard (we loved their pizza and mussels). It's the ideal spot for a couple, preferably with children over 6, so you can enjoy the walks in the surrounding area. We had a wonderful 10 days, and what's more, the weather was magnificent! Thanks to the whole team!!!!
