The front desk staff were very friendly and easy to deal with; the employees spoke perfect German
Minusuri
Many dogs, but few trash cans for dog waste
Great Campground
Everything was perfect, from the first impression at the front desk to checkout. We had a spot in the front row, but all the spots are good. The restrooms are brand-new and well-designed. There’s a restaurant on-site. A bakery and grocery store are very close by. The old town along the promenade is a 20-minute walk away. Not really suitable for biking. At that time of day, almost everything along the beach promenade was already closed.

The only advantage I can think of is that the campsite is also open in the low season. But I'd rather sleep at a rest stop.
Minusuri
- Dirty sanitary facilities - Constant noise - Amusement park for the locals - Dog excrement on the lawn - Not a second of peace - You can't leave anything, really NOTHING outside without fear of it being stolen I could go on and on, but I think it's clear that I can't recommend this place under any circumstances
Worst campsite I have ever been to in over 15 years in Croatia
We were planning to stay there for a long time with the camper. Already on the second evening, WHILE we were in the camper, our table, chairs and flip-flops were stolen. The site actually had a special offer, but this only applies for stays of 3 nights or more. Despite the incident, we were not accommodated... at all and had to pay the normal price. The site is full of locals around the clock, from morning to night, even during the week (children playing, joggers, cyclists, walkers with dogs, young people getting drunk, even homeless people asking for money). We were here in the low season, but peace and quiet is not to be expected at any time. You are watched by the locals for everything you do and feel very uncomfortable. I strongly advise against this place, especially in the low season. There are much better places. Too bad about the beautiful area, we would have liked to have seen more.

Close to town (location), surfer's paradise
Minusuri
Too few sanitary facilities, lots of water plants, floats run forever. Water not up to Croatian standards.
Campsite with upward potential
Very nicely located campsite. We were traveling with a dog. However, the dog beach leaves a lot to be desired. It is difficult to use the beach together with boats. The cleanliness around the site unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired, which is a shame as it's easy to get to Omis on foot.

Beautiful location, sandy beach
Minusuri
Toilets not cleaned often enough, i.e. dirty (hair clogs the drain....), only one wash house which is only accessible via a detour ...
Good location
Beautifully situated site, flat, parceled out, water and electricity canal on many pitches, sandy beach, deciduous trees, sanitary facilities: only one wash house, poor and insufficient cleaning, narrow showers and toilets, access to the wash house only via detours, i.e. there is no path system for pedestrians... from the front pitches directly to the wash house. Pitches a bit careless (uneven, canal raised...) Friendly staff, walking distance to the old center about 1 km, nice place,

Depending on where you sit, everyone will walk through your tent... by the shortest route.... hardly any privacy... just like in the old days!
Great place convenient location
Good overall impression... all water sports... from surfing to diving possible on site... nice cold beer on tap... Rental... Motorboat right on the beach next to the dog beach!!!

very loud and constant traffic noise from the main road somewhat chaotic conditions on the plots
Loud and uninviting
We wanted to climb in Omis and only got a pitch at Camp Galeb without booking in advance. After an hour we knew why: the pitches are marked, but it felt like chaos. It was impossible to relax in the evening as the road noise could be heard very clearly on the category B pitches. We left the camp after just one night.

Super leisure opportunities. Sea right by the campsite
Minusuri
Wash house somewhat overloaded in the main session
Summer, sun, sunshine
We are in Croatia for the first time with friends at the Camp Galeb campsite. In August during the peak season. Access to the campsite was easy. We drove in with our camper van and trailer. The paths on the site are a bit narrow, but manageable with large caravans. The pitches are big enough. We were... able to store everything. And still had space left over. The sea is right on the doorstep. This stretch of beach is sandy, not stone or pebbles as is usual in Croatia. You can walk very far into the sea until it gets really deep. Really great for children. You can also go shopping without having to walk any further. There is a shopping center right in front of the campsite. And you can also walk to Omiš in about 20 minutes. Very nice town center with bars and restaurants. All in all a great place. Also reasonably priced. With a wash house a little less. Could be a bit tight at the showers in the evening but with a little patience and a chat with the neighbors not tragic. My recommendation: just give it a try.

Centrally located quieter than Split (no airplanes) beautiful old town.
Shady place, sanitary area not dirty. There was always a woman cleaning. Good access to the sea two showers directly on the beach. Two pools, I can't rate them (why use a pool when the sea is right next to it). There is a large supermarket at the entrance to the campsite. You can walk to the old town in 15 minutes. My personal recommendation is a boat trip with a pirate to the island of Brac. We were there in July 2019 with several tents.

Minusuri
The place Omis totally overcrowded, noisy. The price is definitely overpriced.
Absolutely not recommended
We drove here because of the ADAC and other very good reviews. Unfortunately, we cannot understand this. Pitches are very confusing and are not demarcated. Hardly any privacy possible. Very noisy. Overall, the place makes a rather unkempt impression.

Lack of cleanliness, WLAN weak
Getting on in years
This place has seen better and hopefully cleaner times. Even if the only wash house is older, it may well be clean. But if shower doors can no longer be closed because the frame is swollen and black, then we have no understanding for that. Overall, the campsite made an unkempt impression, even from the... outside area. The staff were very unfriendly. Too bad, because the place has potential due to its location. We won't go there again. Then you can take the bus from Split to visit the city.

Too few sanitary facilities
Large with many mobile homes
The campsite is large, yet clearly laid out. The sandy beach is really great, but unfortunately there aren't enough sanitary facilities for the masses of people in high season. The cleaners did their best, but it was often not clean. The reception is open 24 hours a day and everyone there is friendly.... However, you can tell that the focus is on renting out mobile homes. A very positive aspect is that it is not far to the beach from any of the pitches.

Actually a nice place. Unfortunately, the volume of the pool music and the bass of the music in the evening until 11pm is annoying. If you have bad luck with the neighbors, the disco organized there until well after 11 pm.

In low season quiet and sunny and dog runs free :-) ours at least.
Minusuri
The ghetto of residential containers.
Beautiful place even in the off-season
We were there at the beginning of October and liked it very much. We had a free choice of pitches which wasn't difficult because most of the pitches were free, big enough and with water and waste water. For water you should have a hose, but it was also possible. Sanitary everything clean, unfortunately... some guests make the dirt, just don't know the brush :-( Beach was also good for the dog, nobody complained :-) was empty. Staff friendly and helpful. Bread only outside in the supermarket. But it's right on the doorstep and I'd rather not talk about the container apartments. It's like a ghetto. Almost no space in 4 rows and the last ones are right on the Adriatic highway. I was there for the first time in 1979, it has changed. We will probably go there again. Omis is also beautiful and can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
