essential things have changed.
If you are really looking for relaxation, this is the place for you. The site is quiet, clean and well-kept.
Of course, if you are the first to come to... the site after Corona, you can't expect ideal conditions. And if you expect all kinds of amenities like at home (wifi, internet, etc.), you should stay at home. After all, camping is camping. But the eternally dissatisfied just don't die out.

Everything is clean and tidy. The new operators are very nice and try to follow in the footsteps of their predecessor. To Henne Strand it is 5-10 minutes by bike and easy to reach.
There are good opportunities for hiking and cycling in the area.
The sanitary cells were regularly cleaned and disinfected, which was especially important for us in the Corona period.

They don't even notice whether you are setting up or dismantling. We were also not informed... of the change of operator in Corona times.
Internet, TV no longer available. Unfortunately without alternatives being offered.
Bread rolls only on pre-order.
The place is only mowed when there is no other way.
Cleanliness in the sanitary facilities has clearly suffered.

If you annoy your Danish and German permanent campers, some of whom have been staying on the site for more than 20 years, to such an extent that they look for another campsite overnight, you shouldn't be surprised if no more money... flows into the till. Several permanent pitches have to make way for a dog meadow (what's 10,000 euros a year in pitch rent if you can leave your dogs there to poop? ...).
No information about the takeover, no contact at all with Corona, overall visual impression of the site unkempt, lack of cleaning of rental objects and sanitary facilities, no more internet and television, no more washing facilities for caravans and cars, store offer pathetic...

- Dennis J.Octombrie 2013- Introduction - We visited the site for 4 nights with the whole family (my wife, our son, my parents, my sister and boyfriend and myself) with my parents using their own caravan and my sister and her boyfriend using a cabin for 2-6 people. - Location of the campsite - The campsite is just outside the... town of Henne Strand, which is a popular vacation destination in Denmark. From the German border it takes about 2 to 2 1/2 hours by caravan. - Sanitary facilities - There is a large building with two ladies' and two men's toilets. There are also showers and washrooms. There are also family showers. You need 4-6 crowns for a shower. Cold showers are free of charge. - Pitches & infrastructure - We opted for a pitch near the rental cabins to stay together. The pitches were quite uneven. We managed to get a straight bed, but unfortunately not my parents. The hut had everything possible to offer. But it is very small for 6 people. In addition, there was usually trouble with the smoke alarm when cooking, which we could also hear from other cabins. For small things you can go shopping at Henne Strand or at the campsite. For larger purchases you should drive to Varde (20km). Petrol stations are in Henne (only with card) Outrup and Varde. - Catering - There is a small market at the entrance which sells fresh bread and rolls typical of Denmark. There are also a few shelves with all kinds of things. - Quiet - The site was very quiet. From time to time you could hear the typical sounds of the military training area in the region. - Leisure activities - There was a large playground on the site which our little one used from time to time. Mini golf (25 crowns), air field hockey and a TV room were right on the pitch. There is also a golf course and a riding stable in the immediate vicinity. - Friendliness - The staff were very friendly and were able to talk to us in German even when we had difficult questions (where my knowledge of Danish stopped). - Cleanliness of sanitary facilities - Everything was absolutely clean. - Cleanliness in general - No garbage or dirt on the pitch and a few garbage cans scattered around. - We also visited the following destinations - Vejers Strand: Lovely little village with a sweet factory, fish smokehouse and a few butiques. Bork: My sister kitesurfs, so we made a detour to Bork on the Rinköbing Fjord. A popular place for windsurfers and kiters. Henne Strand: Easily accessible on foot, Henne offers a few snack bars and butiques.Tradus automat.
