A Campground to Relax
A lovely, intimate, and peaceful campground in a great location!

The campground is located south of Gnosjö, right on Lake Hären, and has about 60 sites (for trailers, RVs, tents, and cabins). We had a spot right on the lake with our own wooden deck; it costs a bit more, but it’s worth the extra charge....

During our stay in the off-season, the campground wasn’t very busy. The reception desk is only staffed on weekends during this time, and the restaurant was already closed. However, someone was always available by phone. But it was precisely this tranquility that we enjoyed.

At the campground, you can rent rowboats, canoes, SUPs, and pedal boats. A barbecue hut and a sauna are also available for a fee. Anglers can catch zander, pike, and perch in Lake Hären. The swimming area has a sandy beach with shallow, child-friendly water.

The restroom facilities were always clean, though during peak season the number of toilets and showers might be a bit limited. We found the key system for the restrooms, washrooms, etc., to be a bit cumbersome. Only one key is issued per site, which can be inconvenient for a family of four.

We especially enjoyed the natural surroundings and the location on Lake Hären, particularly our campsite right on the water with its own wooden deck.

Some of the service facilities (dishwashing area and washing machine) look a bit messy; this may be due to the renovation work.
A beautiful, quiet campground right on the lake
A small, very nice campground located right on Lake Haerensee. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The staff is friendly and helpful and seems to have just taken over the campground. We hope the modernization efforts that have begun can be completed quickly. The restroom... facilities are okay, but they need to be cleaned several times a day when the campground is fully occupied. The best features are the swimming area right on the campsite with wheelchair-accessible entry to the lake, as well as the sauna with a view of the lake...

The bookable wooden terrace on the pitch was nice, extra luxury on the motorhome

Only short walks for dogs
Relaxed campsite
Directly on the lake, dog bathing beach a tiny bit further on. Tip top clean showers and toilets, otherwise - even if we didn't use it - really all the facilities are there.

Very nice and well-kept campsite
This is a really beautiful and lovingly run campsite with a very nice and hard-working operator. The whole site is beautifully designed and it's a great place to relax. The sanitary facilities are absolutely clean and the rest is also very well maintained.
