Great place with everything you need
The campsites are shaded by tall pine trees. You can walk along the beach to Torekov and the marina; the ferry to the island of Hallands Väderö also departs from there. We found the restrooms to be extremely clean. The bistro serves simple meals. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely stop by.

Expected a little more from a First Camp
I stayed at the campsite for two nights while passing through. The reception was nice and uncomplicated. The site is practically in a forest, the whole site is surrounded by old trees. I was allocated a nice pitch. Of course, you can forget about satellite reception as the trees are very tall and dense.... Even the supposedly open pitches have no reception. WLan near the service buildings is ok.
So far so good. But the service buildings are getting a bit long in the tooth. Incomprehensible: Many toilets were marked "Defective". Either they were closed to save money or they were really broken. Then you just ask yourself: why weren't they repaired over the winter?
So for the price, I expect a bit more.
For dog owners like us, the site is very nice, as there are a number of walking paths starting right at the site.
There are also playgrounds for children. The beach, well, part of it is ok with a jetty. But some areas are used more for dumping garbage or building materials. Not so nice. I can't recommend it, there are cheaper places that are better maintained.

Great campsite right by the sea
Great location of the campsite right by the sea. There are plenty of sanitary facilities, which are cleaned three times a day. Everything is therefore very clean even when the campsite is busy.
Pitches are available at different distances from the water. If you like it quieter, you can choose a pitch... further away. Nevertheless, the distances to the sanitary blocks are not too far.
Fresh bread rolls are available every day at the kiosk. There is also a bistro.
There are plenty of activities for the kids, including go-kart hire, a trampoline and a football pitch. Of course there is also a mini golf course.
The nearest supermarket can be reached in 5 minutes by bike.

Partly slight latrine smell on the beach Poor wifi
Good
We had a pitch right by the water, with a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately, it sometimes smelled a bit like latrines.
In general, the site offers sunny and shaded pitches. Each pitch has its own electricity connection.
The sanitary facilities are simple but very clean.
The staff were very... friendly and helpful.
There are many excursion destinations in the area for hiking and cycling.
At our time the campsite was only sparsely occupied, so it was very quiet and relaxing. We would love to come back.

We have been to Torekov a lot and really like the area. The restaurant at the campsite is good
Minusuri
Have to pay extra to get seats together when there are several carriages. Cold water in showers and kitchen. Poor cleaning in shower and toilet
Torekov camping
Sad that the campsite does not take care of showers, toilets, lawn mowing, etc. but keeps charging more and more. We have been satisfied before

the price ;)
Large space right by the sea
Although the site is relatively large with around 1,000 pitches, the divided areas and park-like planting mean you don't get the feeling of being on a mass site. In terms of price, the site was the most expensive on our entire tour of Sweden. We would have expected a little more for that. Overall, the... site is certainly great, there are lots of leisure activities, a beautiful location and objectively little that could be criticized. But the bottom line is that it was simply too expensive for us.

Review the plan for campsites and look to reduce the number and make them large enough and accessible.
That's great!
Unfortunately, we were assigned a place that would be big enough for our wagon, but there was no way to get the wagon in there and the possibility of an awning was just to forget. Then we tried another proposal, but it was just as bad. On the third try it went better and we stayed a wonderful 10 days.... For us with dogs, it is perfect with the proximity to the forest and its long trails. The proximity to Torekov village and the possibility of going over to Hallands väderö is a clear plus. The crab fishing is another. If there are events in båstad, it takes time to get through, but it is possible to get around on other roads. Don't forget to visit Hovs Hallar, these fantastic rock formations.

Pitch top, sanitary well...
We had a great pitch, right on the coast with a magnificent view of the water! The sanitary facilities could definitely be better maintained and newer, but were fine so far. Nice cycle path right along the coast to Torekov, where you can eat delicious food. Friendly staff, all in all great.

More should be possible for 4 stars
The site is now called First Camp Torekov. First the negative: the sanitary facilities. They should be better maintained for a 4-star campsite. Perhaps also more modern. There is a card system for hot water. That doesn't have to be on such an expensive site. It's totally inconvenient for the guest. WLAN... costs money, but is available everywhere. The beach could be better maintained, but this is not the responsibility of the campsite. Please note: there are no cash machines nearby. Only in Bastad, which you can't reach on foot. Positive: The site is in a great location. Great for hiking. Dog friendly. Top staff. Fantastic sea and view. Large pitches. Lots of activities for children.

Very nice, natural site in a pine forest with friendly management. Close to the sandy beach with bathing spots. The beach in front of the campsite was not very well maintained. Child-friendly and informal, despite many permanent campers, not a place where you can't see your neighbors because of all the Womos and caravans.
