Pure peace and quiet. Very nice site operator! Always very clean sanitary facilities. Top baked goods from the baker for breakfast. Nice and helpful permanent campers. Quiet at 10 pm. Good starting point for excursions into the surrounding area. Lake Olba with very good water quality.

A place to rave about
We really enjoyed our summer vacation with Mr. Reck. If you don't need any entertainment, are looking for peace and quiet and can cope with a courteous site operator and friendly permanent campers, this is the place for you. The morning bread roll service with top products from the bakery is to be recommended.... We really liked the clearly laid out and remarkably clean site. The Corona regulations worked very well during our stay. The daily swim in Lake Olba was a must. The water is very clean and is ideal for swimming, canoeing, sailing, pedal boating, SUP and diving. The campsite is on the Seeadler cycle path. We cycled this in 2 stages and were actually able to see a sea eagle!
Starting from the campsite, we visited the towns of Bautzen, Görlitz and the Zittau Mountains.
A trip to Großdubrau or Bauten is necessary for a bulk purchase - we always combined this with a car trip or a city tour in Bauten and was therefore no extra effort
We found the price-performance ratio to be very good. Shower tokens are required for showering (3 minutes). Since you can turn off the water and stop the contdown, you don't run the risk of being soaped up and standing under the shower without water. For longer stays, like ours, it is also possible to do laundry (in the washing machine).
Conclusion: A successful vacation and since we have not yet explored and seen everything in the area - we will be back.

Camping in peace and quiet with lots of relaxation and mlttten in nature
If you don't need luxury, are looking for peace and quiet and a bit of seclusion and can get along with a very friendly site owner, this is the place for you. As far as the infrastructure is concerned, everything is a bit further away. But you are here to relax and not to store.
