- E. H.August 2024PlusuriThe campsite is right on the water.MinusuriWe've been going to this site for years, we've always liked it. When we arrived this year, my brother tried to keep a place free (by putting down the cable drum etc.), as was customary here. Unfortunately, we were consistently asked to take our things off the pitch. You can't keep a space free here. One day later, a motorhome drove away behind us and the vacationers opposite put their two bicycles there to keep the space free for friends. They could do that, they said. When we asked at the office, they were right - is there a double standard here or do the office staff not know the rules exactly? We are very disappointed.Reserve a parking space ????Place good, except for small incident with the reservation.......................Tradus automat.
- Michael G.August 2023PlusuriLocation directly on the dike....... Nice clean and well-kept place..... Very dog friendly...MinusuriThat it is closed in winter....Beautiful and dog-friendly place........This is a very nice site right on the coast and ideal if you are traveling with dogs.
Very well-maintained wash house.
Next to the campsite there are delicious restaurants and shopping facilities for groceries.
Outdoor pool nearby and lots of forest for walking or cycling.
Lovely dog beach with a large meadow for dogs to run free.Tradus automat. - Ute S.May 2022PlusuriCompetent, friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, dog-friendlyMinusuriDifficult for large trailers, small pitchesClean, close to the mudflats and Wernerwald forestI can neither understand nor confirm the comments "unfriendliness, dogs barking, arrogance".
On arrival, you are given a map of the site with an explanation of how to get there. The driveways are one-way streets as they are not very wide. License plate recognition at the barrier makes it easy to pass... through.
Tethering facilities and drinking bowls in front of the sanitary facilities for dogs. I would like to emphasize that there were no animal droppings and no barking dogs, nor did any owners yell for their four-legged friends. So if you need an alarm clock, you should bring one with you or set your cell phone, otherwise there is a risk of oversleeping. Quiet place in the immediate vicinity of the beach and dog beach and Wernerwald.
It is difficult for larger caravans as it is quite narrow. We were there with our van and will definitely be back.Tradus automat. - Peter L.October 2021PlusuriNot far from the promenadeMinusuriThe site staff could be friendlier.Campsite not far from the North SeaFriendly and helpful staff at the registration desk.
Clean sanitary facilities. Mainly permanent campers and many dogs on the site, whose owners play the site alarm clock early in the morning with

The site staff could be friendlier.Tradus automat. - Christian E.October 2020PlusuriLocation directly on the beach, restaurants in the surrounding areaMinusuriLong distances to the sanitary buildingEven a sea view is possibleWe spent some very nice days here on the mobile home site at the beginning of October. The infrastructure with stores and restaurants around the site is very good. The sanitary building is clean and tidy. We found the price to be reasonable. We had no problems staying here with our dog.Tradus automat.
- Uwe S.September 2020PlusuriVery nice location, dogs welcomeMinusuriPoor roads, deep puddles when it rains. No hot water in the toilets.Quiet place, unfortunately a bit outdated. We have been visiting the site regularly for 12 years and always enjoy coming back. However, the site and especially the wash house have not been adequately maintained over the years. The driveways are full of deep potholes, the wash house is not exactly a positive feature due to worn fittings, broken... coat hooks and one or two shower doors that no longer close. There is no hot water at the hand basin in the toilets, which must be standard today. However, it is tiptop clean thanks to the constant efforts of the staff, which makes the shortcomings described above appear in a less positive light. As for the staff at reception, you have to be lucky who is there at the time. Some employees are overflowing with friendliness and helpfulness, while others clearly need improvement. It shouldn't be the case that one person can do almost everything and another almost nothing outside of the normal booking. Despite the shortcomings that certainly exist, the campsite is still one of our favorites. The location is simply brilliant and so far the positives outweigh the negatives. However, we hope that they will recognize the signs of the times and make one or two investments.Tradus automat.
- Gordon S.July 2020PlusuriCleanliness, location, friendlinessMinusuriPlots far too small Driveways very narrow, unsuitable for large caravans.Clean and friendly. The campsite is clean and can be recommended for its location right by the sea.
Unfortunately not recommended for large caravans, the paths are far too narrow and the pitches too small.
From 13 m total length it becomes critical!Tradus automat. - Ulla S.August 2019PlusuriVery clean sanitary facilities Very friendly staff Great location directly on the North Sea Very dog-friendly (dog beach)MinusuriNarrow paths and parking spaces, so accidents are not uncommon Wash house is completely closed from 10 pm. So always brush your teeth beforehand ;)Clean and beautifully situatedLocated directly on the North Sea. Clean sanitary facilities at all times. Very friendly and helpful staff, who helped us immediately if we had a problem. Shopping facilities (bakery, butcher, various restaurants) directly in front of the campsite. Fresh bread rolls from 7am.Tradus automat.
- Heike S.May 2019PlusuriClean sanitary facilities, bakery, cafes. Fish, pizza within walking distanceMinusuriView of high-rise buildings, plots far too small, unfriendly snooty boss, rabbit infestation, old dirty permanent campers, 50 cNever againA campsite squeezed into the landscape, far too small pitches with an impossible view of tower blocks, totally run-down permanent camping facilities. Showers with a 50 cent charge, incompetent staff who insult the guests. Price-performance ratio not at all good, rabbit plagueTradus automat.
- Jürgen K.April 2019PlusuriWith several dogsMinusuriW-Lan was not so goodCampsite in a very good locationVery nicely laid out campsite, friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities. What's great is that you can take more dogs here. We were at the campsite with three dogs, no problem. Not even the size of the dog was an exclusion criterion.Tradus automat.
- Kl. S.August 2018Plusuriclose to the beach, good sanitary facilities, Cuxhaven and the surrounding area has a lot to offer for action loversMinusuripartly bad paths in the rain a bit too dark at night, a bit too much dog barkingLocated close to the beachThe campsite is located right next to the sandy beach... separated only by a traffic-calmed road! The pitches vary in size and are separated by smaller bushes and small-crowned trees. The ground consists of a kind of lawn gravel. Sanitary facilities are modern and always clean! Unfortunately, the paved... paths are very worn ..so that endless puddles hinder you when it rains. There is a lack of lighting at night...it's a bit too dark in places. Internet is weak in the whole area! Otherwise, there are various restaurants and a few stores with beach and vacation items in the immediate vicinity. The whole area invites you to cycle or hike (many destinations for day trips) We liked it here, we will certainly come back again.Tradus automat.
- Hans-Joachim R.July 2018PlusuriVery clean sanitary facilities and the short distance to the dog beachMinusuriSomewhat narrow access to the parking space.HansGreat placeWe were surprised that we got a nice place in the main holiday season, where dogs are also welcome, we were greeted very friendly and could even choose the place, the way to the dog beach was also only a few meters away from the place, the sanitary facilities were very clean, we will gladly come back!Tradus automat.
- Wolfgang W.May 2018PlusuriClean campsite run by friendly staff, the large dog beach with dog shower ...Minusuri----Ideal campsite for camping with dogs by the North SeaWe were very surprised that there is a place on the German North Sea coast where dogs are welcome. The site: Right on the beach, well-kept and clean. The pitches are large enough, but the access roads are a bit narrow. The pitches each have electricity, water and waste water connections. There is a bag... dispenser at the exit for our furry friends' waste. Sanitary building: The sanitary building is cleaned several times a day. Absolutely clean. The beach: Clean sandy beach, divided into dog beach and holidaymaker beach. There is a large dog shower on the dog beach. Surroundings: There are several stores directly on site. A bakery with plenty of choice, a Greek restaurant, 2 Italian restaurants, 1 fish restaurant and 1 snack bar where you can eat delicious fish at reasonable prices. Shopping facilities: There is an Edeka supermarket about 3 km away. It was a relaxed week for us. We even got into conversation with the permanent campers.Tradus automat.
- Achim M.April 2018PlusuriClose to the beachMinusuriWould everything be describedInsufficientThe location of the pitch is good. The site itself is a disaster. The pitches are only suitable for small caravans. The paths are rutted. Sometimes you have to drive your car onto them. When it rains, the water collects on the uneven paths so that you need rubber boots. The drainage ditches fill up quickly... and flood the pitches and then it stinks. There is nothing for children. And for the price charged there an absolute no go! The only friendly staff can be found at the wash house. Even the boss is just overbearing and arrogant. Once and never again.Tradus automat.
- Wilfried H.September 2017PlusuriWaterfront location and sanitary facilitiesMinusuriInfrastructure on the squareNever again after 11 yearsFirst of all, we've always enjoyed coming to Finck campsite, but now we've had enough. We would advise any camper not to visit the site in the fall. Even on a "normal" rainy day, large puddles form on the well-trodden paths. If it rains continuously at night and the North Sea is normally high tide, the... tourist pitches are flooded by the small ditches. We and 6 other campers were only able to rescue our caravans in the cold, sometimes calf-deep water at 5 a.m. in the dark of night with great difficulty and a mover. No sign of the operator. He only came to work punctually at 7 am. When we asked the day before if anything could happen, we were brusquely dismissed. We could still leave the site this evening. So much for friendliness, which has diminished a lot recently with some people. As already described by other guests, the pitches are getting smaller and smaller because the sides are sloping and soft. As an alibi, some of the pitches have had chippings piled up in the middle so that the pitches slope even more. The paths have been a disaster for years, especially when it rains. Not only puddles, but also dirty due to flooding. Even the flagstone paths between the main paths are deep and sloping, creating deep puddles. You just have to slalom to stay reasonably dry and clean. There is an urgent need to invest in the infrastructure of the pitch. The sanitary facilities and the location of the pitch can't make up for that. But what bothered us the most was that although the problem of flooding is supposed to be known, we were not warned the evening before! I also didn't hear a word of regret or an apology. After 11 years, never camping at Finck again!!!Tradus automat.
- Erich H.September 2017Plusurieverything fitsMinusurinonesuper placeGreat place, we stayed at the mobile home site, everything was tip top clean, great view, nice owners and the sanitary facilities are amazing, you can eat from the floor so clean. - Karl C.September 2016PlusuriFriendliness, cleanliness, price for 10 days with discount, which could be bigger.MinusuriNONE!Pitch for motorhomes, 10 days in Sept. 2016We found a great spot in the 1st row. Lots of contact with vacation guests on the promenade. Our cocker was no problem. Reception with friendly staff, worth mentioning here: The "brother-in-law", who doesn't have a name but belongs to the Meyer family. We have rarely experienced such clean sanitary facilities, the man from Bosnia is simply great. We will be back!Tradus automat.
