Beautiful and clean restrooms.

They advertise a dog beach, but there isn't one. You have to walk all the way to Lembruch, and when it's 30 degrees, there's nowhere to let your dog go in the water. The midday quiet hours are supposed to be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., but you don't notice them at all.
Campground not very dog-friendly
The campground’s restroom facilities are nice and clean by standard standards, but the shower stalls and washrooms are very cramped. It’s advertised as dog-friendly with a dog beach, but there was a large meadow with four metal ramps for surfers—not really suitable for dogs. There’s a lot of foot traffic... passing through the campground, and the parking lot is connected to the campground—it’s not separated by a barrier. Since it’s open to everyone at all times, you don’t really notice any midday quiet hours; things don’t start to quiet down until around 10:00 p.m. So, for me, I’ll only be here once.

A very nice campground with large sites.

Comfortable Camping
We felt very comfortable at the campground. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Our site was equipped with water, sewer, and electricity—what more could you ask for?
The restrooms are clean and always available.
It would be great to have a supermarket within walking distance.

Friendly welcome and briefing. Immediate help with manpower and tools, as the camper van could not be uncoupled.
Accompaniment to the local workshop.
The pitch was generously sized, equipped with paving, water and waste water, electricity connection.

Beautiful place, but petty bureaucracy
We arrived in extreme heat at 32 degrees Celsius and, exhausted from the journey, wanted to go straight to our pitch. However, this was only possible by paying an extra €10, as check-in is only possible from 2.00 pm.
As the restaurant was only open from 5.30 p.m., we only had time to kill at 32 degrees Celsius or pay the "entrance fee" of €10 for just under 2 hours. We paid, but won't be coming here again.

A super clean campsite. Also for children it is very nice and you can let them run relatively free. also in the area you can do a lot. Prices on the site are super ok at the snack bar beach bar golf etc.

The campsite is just great! You feel very comfortable. The location is really great, quiet and right on the lake. The staff are always friendly, the sanitary facilities are new and clean and they are cleaned several times a day.

Very good place
We were looking for a place to relax after a stressful few weeks. And that is so possible on this site - there is heavenly peace and quiet here (at least during our stay). Although the campsite has a kind of "through road" to Lake Dümmer, there is no hustle and bustle.
The lake is simply very beautiful,... you can go for a wonderful walk, cycle or just sit and enjoy the area.
The Capingplatz is highly recommended. The operators and staff are very friendly and there is a very informal atmosphere. The showers and toilets were always spotlessly clean. Hot water works via a card that you get with €5 credit at check-in. This card also has a key function for the showers and toilets. All in all, it works really well.
All in all, we felt very comfortable there. We will definitely be back again.

Very clean in all areas, beautiful and large camping pitches (lawn & tiles) close to the Dümmersee. Very nice and helpful campsite operators. Family atmosphere. Anytime again! Good value for money. Kind regards from the nice "Neumännern"

Great campsite
Very nice, well-kept site. The pitches in the C10 complex are close to the lake. Very nice site operators. Clean sanitary facilities, everything newly renovated. The bakery is very close by. Electricity and water directly at the pitch, as well as waste water.
We would love to come back :)

Best place on Lake Dümmer
We have been coming from the Ruhr area several times a year for 25 years - for us there is no alternative in the area. The site is in a great location, everything is clean and tidy and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

The manager gave us a very friendly welcome and the pitch was bright and beautiful. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. The Dümmer is great for cycling. Dümmer Perle next door is a great restaurant. We would love to come back.

TOP campsite at the Dümmer!
A really recommendable campsite with all the trimmings. The arrival and departure is very well organized and everything is taken care of immediately. The site is very well maintained and the location is fantastic!

We really liked it here. Registration was quick and uncomplicated. The toilets and showers were cleaned several times a day. The staff were also very nice, we would love to come back.

We will be back!
We were warmly welcomed with our 2 dogs. The site had a good location and was very quiet. Everything was easily accessible from our pitch. Super location as a starting point for cycling tours. The "Dümmer Perle", where we were well catered for, is adjacent to the campsite.

Great campsite !
Very nice well-kept campsite, the sanitary facilities are new and really clean. Cyclists , dog owners & nature lovers will get their money's worth here . There is also a lot on offer for children. All in all simply top! 5 stars more than deserved.

The CP consists of two parts, the quieter C12 is at the top of the village.

Unfortunately, the tourist pitches on C12 are to make way for permanent campers, which is a shame because C10 (down by the lake) is very busy at the weekend. Although there are quiet times, the permanent campers don't stick to them.
Great vacation on CP C12
A very friendly welcome! As we had already asked for the pitch number beforehand, we drove straight to CP C12 and parked the caravan. We then took the car to CP C10 to register. You could have walked there, but you don't know that on the first day. As there is a lot going on down by the lake at the weekend,... we wouldn't have been able to turn around with the trailer. We experienced that once, unhitching the trailer, driving back and forth with the mover, then hitching it up again, and that on the sloping road towards the lake; nobody needs that!!! If you don't know which pitch you've been allocated, just drive to CP C12. Opposite the entrance on the left is a large parking lot under trees where you can park your caravan for the time being. If you have booked on C10, you can of course drive straight down.
The sanitary facilities are relatively new and the cleaning lady cleans very neatly, sometimes several times a day. You get access with a card, which you also need when showering or washing/drying laundry.
You can get bread rolls or bread and a newspaper from the bakery on the way to CP C10.
We didn't try the "Dümmer Perle" restaurant, which is fancy and expensive. There is a small pizzeria on the right-hand side towards the end of the village that only serves salad, pizza and pasta. Good quality at good prices. The snack bar on the ring road is also great. Shopping is very good in Lemförde, 3 km away. There you will find Rossmann, Aldi, Combi, Edeka and Sparkasse. In Lemförde there is a great Greek restaurant "Ekrems Taverne", very good food at reasonable prices. We also recommend the "Bar Dü Mar" on the lake. In Lembruch there is a savings bank machine in the tourist information office.
We would have loved to consider spending another vacation there, but as the quiet pitches on C12 have given way to permanent campers, this is unfortunately no longer an option.

Very quiet CP site - also suitable for camper vans. CP is located directly on the lake. Very nice CP operators. Clean sanitary facilities, which are also due to be renovated soon. Bakery very close by. Electricity and water directly at the pitch, as well as waste water.

No restaurant on the CP at the moment. - Relatively small pitches. The sanitary cabins very small but still good. Hot water was missing at the individual washbasins. Otherwise all good.
Beautiful campsite on Lake Dümmer
Very nice campsite with many permanent campers, but you don't notice them. Very nice campsite operators. The CP is located directly on the Dümmer lake. Everything was OK for our relatively short stay. We will be back again. The sanitary facilities will probably be rebuilt or renovated soon. However, they were very clean during our visit.

The summer meadow has no significant advantages for the time being. Groups can gather - for them, rather disadvantageous for others.

Electricity via cable boxes lying around on the meadow... it's fascinating that this still exists in Germany ;-) but thanks to 30m of cable it still worked. Because of chip cards with a charged amount for the showers (and the entrance) no pre-payment and thus "departure just like that" possible. (Chip card only for entry could be thrown in the mailbox on departure). So I was only able to leave later (when registration opened) than planned. The summer meadow has more the character of a festival meadow, depending on the guests/groups.

This rating concerns the "summer meadow". As I still sit next to the bus in the evening, even in October, it is important to me that it is "quiet". This may not apply to the summer meadow to the same extent as for the main square.
