An oasis of peace and hospitality - Camping Wisperpark is a jewel of a place
An oasis of tranquility and hospitality - Camping Wisperpark is a gem of a place!

What a special experience we had at Camping Wisperpark. From the first moment we felt welcome, but what Claudia and Peter did for us during our stay really goes far beyond hospitality - it was pure human gold.

We had... major bad luck with our Mercedes: the car could not continue and had to be towed by the German sister organization of the ANWB. A few days later, we fortunately received replacement transportation through the ANWB, but we had to pick it up 150 kilometers away. When Claudia heard this, she did not hesitate for a moment and - completely selflessly - made her own car available so that we could pick up the replacement car. Truly a special gesture, pure customer friendliness as you rarely come across anymore.

Peter also spontaneously offered help: he made the address of the campsite and his name available so we could have an urgent product delivered. No fuss, just thinking along and being there for you. That makes Camping Wisperpark more than just a nice place - it is a place where you feel supported.

And then another thing that absolutely must be named: the hygiene at the campsite. The grounds are kept up with incredible care and the sanitary building is of a standard rarely seen at campsites - spotless, fresh and well maintained. Really chapeau.

Moreover, the campground itself is located in the middle of the breathtaking Wispertal. Peace, space, nature, here you can completely come to your senses. There are plenty of hiking opportunities and charming villages nearby. But what we remember most is the genuineness, heart and warmth of Claudia and Peter.

Dear Claudia and Peter, thank you so much. We will not forget your help, care and hospitality.
We will definitely come back here. For us, Camping Wisperpark is a hidden gem.

With great thanks and warm greetings,
Marieke and Harold

Short trip
We stayed at the campsite for a weekend in September. The operators are very friendly and the site is very well maintained. It's a quiet place where you can hear lots of animals in the evening. During the day, when the weather is nice, there is a lot of noise from motorcycles driving along the road right next to the campsite. The sanitary facilities could be modernized. Without heating it is quite fresh in the fall.

Campsite in the middle of the forest
The campsite is in a nice quiet location. There is very little traffic on the road directly by the campsite. There is a large meadow for camping groups. Tourist pitches are occasionally offered. For the most part, however, the site is occupied by permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are fine, but are getting on in years. The operators are very friendly and helpful. There is a beer garden and restaurant on site (open Fridays to Mondays).

Beautiful place in the middle of the forest, only separated by a barely traveled road ... the operators are super nice and very helpful. The food from the restaurant is very tasty and plentiful. We will definitely come back to this beautiful piece of nature.

Great nature, nice operator, well-kept site, friendly permanent campers, electricity at the campsite, fire & barbecue area
Minusuri
Hardly any telephone network (can also be seen as an advantage), many motorcyclists at the weekend during the motorcycle season
Excellent nature campsite.
I camped there for two weeks with a friend and we wanted to take advantage of the natural surroundings to get on with our book. The campsite is located at the far end of the campsite. It is possible to get electricity at the campsite, make a fire, barbecue (barbecue grill permanently installed), there... is a small covered area with two fridges underneath, parking spaces and a playground. Telephone network and mobile internet are generally not available there, but are available in other parts of the campsite. It is also possible to book WLAN access and use it at the inn. Food and drink are also available at the inn at weekends, as well as the option of signing up for a list for fresh bread rolls the next morning. There are two showers for women and two for men, and hot water is available in the showers. The nature is very beautiful. Let the nightingale at the top of the fir tree present you with a one-bird orchestra or watch animals such as a pine marten, fox, deer, wild boar or (male) bullfinch (all seen there) and much more. There is a bus stop right in front of the campsite, but don't be fooled by the bus timetables, which say that there are only on-call buses, but in fact there are regular buses. These (no. 212) will take you to Bad Schwalbach, for example, and from there you have good connections. The operator (Claudia Dörschug-Brandscheid) is a super nice woman. She often came to meet us and made our visit there as pleasant as possible, which we really appreciated. I've now told you enough, but not everything. You'll have to find out the rest for yourself, try it out and be surprised!

Large, well-kept, quiet pitch and very good service
Minusuri
Sanitary facilities, partly poor telephone connection
Relaxation in nature
Super service, immediate help with technical problems. Favorite phrase: "We'll get it done". Very friendly staff, always ready to help. Plot very large and well-kept. Also very good for dogs. Small minus point: lots of spiders in the sink area, sanitary facilities need renovating. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

A little insider tip
We spent several weekends there and were able to leave the caravan there during the week without any problems and on fair terms. The 5 stars for friendliness can by no means reflect the condition of the site. The site is small and very clean, characterized by friendly permanent campers who don't give... you the impression of being an unwelcome guest. I had to deduct one star for quietness, as on nice weekends the road leading directly past the site is very busy with motorcyclists. At night and when the weather is not so good, however, it is absolutely quiet. Internet and mobile phone network are rather lacking, but not necessary for a relaxing vacation.

Nice CP for stay over or longer stays
We only did one stay over, but the site is also suitable for longer stays for those seeking peace and quiet or hikers. The operators are very friendly and were very helpful despite it being the low season. The only criticism is that if you go to the sanitary facilities in the dark, it is very dark. The... signs indicating whether it is for men or women could be illuminated. As the valley makes it difficult to access cell phones and the internet, young people could quickly get bored. We enjoyed the one unavailable night.

Small nice Cp in a super nice quiet location, very friendly operator, unfortunately we could not test the restaurant because it is only open from Friday-Monday, toilets quite ok but showers with their small partitions much too small. Shopping and bread rolls unfortunately only about 8 km away.

- quiet location - reasonable prices - friendly operators/staff

- Gravel chippings make maneuvering difficult...
Only one night...
...but we have come to appreciate this campsite. Friendly and helpful staff/operators, quiet location, pleasant atmosphere. There is a restaurant at the campsite with various dishes on the menu, bread service. The sanitary facilities were all well maintained, clean and relatively new. Our only criticism... - and this is complaining at a high level - would be the gravel path to the pitches, which makes maneuvering - manually or with a mover - a test of endurance for man and material.

Again and again with pleasure
A beautifully situated small campsite, the operators of the campsite are friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the campsite and the sanitary facilities are almost perfect, the restaurant, which is open at weekends, offers a small but fine menu at moderate prices, wines from the region are offered... and beer drinkers get their money's worth as well as people who do not drink alcohol. The CP is ideal for relaxing and unwinding and also for excursions into the surrounding area, Wiesbaden and Mainz are not far away and the Rheingau is always worth a trip.

Very nice location, quiet and clean!
Idyllic place with very nice people
We landed on this beautiful site with our camper van for a weekend and were given a very friendly welcome. At this time of year there were almost only permanent campers on the site, but they made us feel very welcome in their community. At the weekends, the cozy restaurant offers a small but fine selection... of delicious dishes, freshly prepared by the owner herself. You can order bread rolls in the morning. You can start beautiful hiking tours directly from the campsite. This valley is totally quiet and relaxed. We jokingly said: "We're behind the seven mountains with the seven dwarves" - but we had a really good rest and enjoyed our time out. :-) We will definitely be back!

Top price/performance ratio. A super well-kept campsite with nice people. Absolutely dog-friendly. We immediately felt very comfortable. The beer garden is very nice. The food is delicious. The menu is small, but everything is turbo fresh. A small selection of different dishes every day. We are delighted and look forward to our next visit.

Quiet location
VERY friendly operator and staff
The site is in a very idyllic location in the Wispertal valley. The nearby country road is not a problem as it is not very busy. There are some permanent campers on the site itself. The pitches for caravans and motorhomes are large enough. There is also a large meadow for groups with tents. The pitches... are all gravelled, so that no one should drown even in the rain. Nevertheless, the pegs find a good hold in the ground. There are enough sanitary facilities, they are nicely decorated and were cleaned every half hour over Whitsun. The operator and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beer garden invites you to sit and linger. All in all, a very nice resort that is not overcrowded. We would love to come back

Stayed here for a few days as my wife was there for a cure. I can only say that the place is run by the owner with a lot of heart and love. She is very friendly and helpful. The place is very well maintained, the toilets and showers are cleaned several times a day and were always absolutely top. The... catering also leaves nothing to be desired. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. You never had the feeling of being ripped off as the prices were very moderate and you really don't have to pay for every little thing as is the case on many other campsites. Conclusion: to have a nice vacation, this place is highly recommended. Once again a big compliment to the owner and many thanks for the lovely stay.

A very quiet, clean campsite. Unfortunately we couldn't try out the restaurant as we were only on site from Tuesday to Friday and the restaurant is only open at weekends in April. Our prior reservation turned out to be an advantage, as the owners of the campsite run the site as a sideline. But with a... lot of dedication and helpfulness. Unfortunately, there is no cell phone (internet) or DVBT reception in the valley. This made the stay even quieter, as there were hardly any other campers on the site. All in all, it was a very nice, quiet few days on the site.
