The location is very nice and despite the street quite quiet.

Unfortunately it is very narrow. I had no room to attach my awning to the caravan. That wasn't very nice in the sunny weather.
Beautiful location
The campsite is in a beautiful location, the sanitary facilities are clean. However, everything is very narrow. I could not even put up my awning from the caravan, it was so tight. The pitch was just way too small that was assigned to me . Maybe it was also the holiday. On such days I would personally no longer spend my vacation days there .

Nice area, small campground, no boxes but find free spot. Sanitary building seemed clean.

Men's restroom stank. Lots of poop on the camping field.
Reasonable campsite, reasonably clean, lots of poop on the field.
Upon arrival in the afternoon, the reception appeared to be closed. There seems to be a restaurant, but according to Google it is permanently closed. Campsite is freely accessible by car. Next to the campsite is a kind of trailer park where there are cottages. They were not all well maintained. On this... site is also the sanitary building. It seemed clean, but the smell in the men's toilet was very unpleasant. 3 Showers at the men's, 2 of them with push button and 1 with thermostatic button. The campground has no pre-arranged sites, there is electricity and water available and the field is next to a stream. On the other side of the stream a fairly busy road, which you hear less and less as the evening progresses. The camping field is full of goose and dog droppings. I would not recommend this campground for this reason.

Quiet beautiful location. Very well maintained and staff is friendly. Variable pitch options with water and electricity. Also WLAN. Great sanitary facilities.

Something for everyone....
Mostly quiet with an adjacent road. During the day in perfect weather it is also, as we know from our own experience, a beautiful route for motorcyclists with a great local ice cream parlor. There are also markets within easy walking distance. I also found the river Wied, flowing in front of me, pleasantly... refreshing. The local cuisine was very nice and delicious. I will probably stop in quickly and often. Ok fast because the journey is just 15 minutes and 16 km. 😊

Beautiful campsite, very nice hosts and clean sanitary facilities
We stayed at the campsite for a weekend as a couple with our caravan. Arriving was very relaxed, as the owner greeted us in a very friendly manner before opening reception and we were able to set up in peace.
There is free WiFi on site, a restaurant, a small playground and modern, very clean sanitary... facilities.
Hiking trails start right at the campsite, which we made use of.
The pitches stretch along the Wied on a grassy area. They are not clearly demarcated or numbered, so you can choose a nice spot. We liked it that way.
The sound of the Wied is quite relaxing.
For shopping, you can walk about 800 m over a small bridge to the supermarket.

We will definitely be back again.

We spent one night here. The site is beautifully laid out for tourists directly on the Wied. The site is perfect for hiking and cycling tours in the surrounding area and the sanitary facilities are very clean. There is a small but nice restaurant with a beer garden where delicious schnitzel dishes are prepared. We liked it very much and will come back for a longer stay.

We spent one night here and felt very comfortable. The location of the campsite, the friendliness of the hosts and the opportunities for hiking and cycling are very good. We will be back.

Perfect starting point for hikes! Everything is clean and easily accessible. New, beautiful sanitary facilities and a REWE supermarket just a few minutes away. Located directly on the river.

You can swim, kayak and paddleboard in the river.

Dogs can also play in the water here.

There is also a restaurant right on site.
