"Reservation problems - " I have stayed at DD several times in the last 10 years, we have enjoyed the camping very much. At that time, I would give it 5 stars. But now?": 28-12-2022: received e-mail: For you Special Coupon 2023. 15% discount. The offer ends with : " We stay at your disposal, see you soon! " 02-01-2023: received e-mail: Quote of the holiday: 5 adult, 1 child, period 13/08/2023 until 28/08/2023, total amount 1732.83 euros 22-01-2023: sent e-mail : Do we need to make deposit? 14-02-2023: called about sent e-mail: I would like to know how to make the deposit. Answer: Please call back in 5 minutes, but alas, 5 minutes later, the phone is not picked up. I get Fax sound and later I get voicemail/anwering machine. 14-02-2023: sent e-mail: About the phone contact: I would still like to know if and how I should make a deposit for our booking. 15-02-2023: sent e-mail: Did you receive my e-mail? 15-02-2023: called with same question. Answer: " Yes we received the e-mail, we will respond this evening" 15-02-2023: received e-mail: " We regret to inform you that at this time we don't book pitches until 21st of August, only from 22nd." 15-02-2023: sent e-mail: " We like to book from 22nd of august until 29th of august. Please confirm" 16-02-2023: received e-mail : " We noted you are 6 people. In that case we cannot book a pitch, in last years maximum is 5 people in 1 pitch for noise problems" 16-02-2023: sent e-mail: since the max on 1 pitch is now apparently 5 people, sent e-mail " Please make a booking for 2 pitches, it is no problem, my father-in-law would like to come along and one of us can sleep on that pitch" 17-02-2023: received e-mail: " The rule applies to the family unit, all relatives included. The problem is not only for the sleeping, but also during the day where we can suppose that family members are together (breakfast,lunch,dinner,playing). So, we dislike, it is not possible" .... Nothing changes and visits from outsiders cannot be made. This is how it is now.

"Dolce Vita cosi, cosi - Wir waren Ende August - Anfang September zum zweiten Mal auf diesen Platz. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auf den Stellplatz geleitet. Die Bahnlinie hinter dem CP, nimmt man je nach Stellplatz, verschieden wahr. Wunderschön empfanden wir das Glockenspiel der Kirche. Der Strand ist über eine stark befahrene Straße erreichbar. Er ist breit, das Wasser flach und damit sehr für Familien geeignet. Die Animation für die Kinder war sehr gut. Die Promenade mit Palmen, ist ein absoluter Traum. Einen Supermarkt mit vielen sortierten Schlemmereien gibt es im Ort. Leider gab es dieses Jahr ein paar Kritikpunkte. Es gibt immer noch keine Seife und kein Toilettenpapier in den Sanitäranlagen. Morgens warmes Wasser fehlte auch. Da war angeblich was kaputt. Von Mixgetränken wusste das Serviceteam in der Gaststätte nichts, wir haben uns dann irgendwas mit Rum bestellt und hat auch geschmeckt. Das schlimmste für uns war, dass es kein Gelati mehr gab, nur das abgepackte was es in jedem Supermarkt gibt. Nachts war die Hölle los. Wir haben keine Nacht durchgeschlafen, weil jede Nacht auf der Straße Gegröle und Mopedrasereien stattfanden. Sehr früh war dann die Müllabfuhr zu Gange und wir waren wieder munter.

"Wareen das erstemal da und super gern wieder mal !!!!! - Sehr , sehr schöner Platz Personal super super nett immer hilfsbereit , sehr sauber WC und der ganze Platz und Pitza immer frisch und lecker

" - Ein wunderschöner Platz, sehr sauber, üppige Vegetation, die Mitarbeiter äußerst nett und hilfsbereit. Zum Meer nur über die Straße. Jederzeit wieder!

" - Schöner Platz, freundliches Personal,viele Italiener und ein richtig schöner Strand vor der Anlage. Wenn man nach link geht ist ein freier Strand wo auch in der Haupsaison viel Platz ist. Einkaufsmölichkeiten außerhalb nur per Auto zu erreichen.

Profil

The Camping Village Don Diego is situated in Grottammare, on the tropical seafront known as the 'Riviera Picena of the Palms', that runs from Grottammare to S.Benedetto del Tronto, two attractive towns situated on the Adriatic coast, in the Marche …region (Piceno). The camping is located between the two towns (1 km from Grottammare center, 1,5 Km from S.Benedetto), both reachable also through the new cycle-lane on the seafront. The camping is at just 10 metres from the guest reserved beach, appreciated for its fine golden sand, the transparent sea and the soft depth, ideal also for children. Since 1999, Grottammare received the important award of the 'European Blue Flag' for its clean seawater and quality of its services. The area is completely shaded by a rich and varied vegetation (palms, eucalyptus, pine, oleanders, The places for tent/caravan +auto or camper, totally shaded and bounded by hedges, are about 60 mq.

To reach us by car is very easy: Highway A14 Exit "Grottammare" – the camping-entry is at 1,5 Km, going to direction south after the roundabout. By train: we advise the railway station ‘S.Benedetto del Tronto’ (at 2 Km) where …also the international trains stop. There it’s possible to catch the local bus direction ‘Seafront Grottammare’ with stop at 50 mt from campsite. The campsite is at half way between S.Benedetto and Grottammare center.
