The possibility of getting coffee before 8am would have made my stay perfect ;-) The way to the sanitary building is unfortunately quite far but I had the bike with me. Very friendly, helpful groundsman Thomas!MinusuriSuboptimal network reception (unless you book Premium)Best camping on the AmmerseeBeautifully situated campsite right on the lake with lots of leisure facilities (boat hire, mini golf, climbing forest, field labyrinth and lido) and plenty of culinary options. The sanitary facilities are spacious and always clean. Network reception could be improved (unless you book the premium package)....
On the other hand, the service provided by groundsman Thomas, who was very helpful in repairing a broken trailer power cable, deserves special mention.

Sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day and are therefore very sauber👌🏻. There is a small store with the essentials and fresh bread rolls next to a restaurant by the lake. Our gravel pitch was large and easy to access.
The only disadvantage for us was the drinking water supply: approx. 300m
away from our pitch!
I don't know how campers with caravans or tents manage that.
Sanitary building average, a bit outdated,... but clean!
Waiting time for toilet at peak times!

The distance to the knights' tournament in Kaltenberg is easily manageable.

Nevertheless, everything ran smoothly. The capacity of the sanitary facilities was also sufficient and they were always clean, at least for the men. It was different for the women at times. The standard pitches are relatively small, but more... guests can benefit from the absolutely unique location.
We had to move once during a 4-day stay. This could not be booked differently and could not be changed by reception. However, the move was completed before midday without any problems.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is absolutely outstanding: Our caravan tire lost air. Two technicians were immediately on hand to start the compressor to inflate the tire. When that wasn't enough, they came to the site with an even more powerful mobile compressor, used our car tire repair kit and were actually able to get the tire tight enough for us to get home. The pitches are close together, at night I could hear the neighbor snoring and in the morning the neighbors on the other side chattering loudly at 7.30 am.
It's also a shame that there isn't a passageway (pitch no. 525)... to the sanitary building. It's all walled up with year-round campers. Some of these caravans are quite run-down and spoil the whole picture. They should be cleaned up a bit.
The reception was friendly and the showers and toilets were fine. But there are certainly nicer places.

You can have a nice, relaxed camping vacation, the staff is very friendly everywhere.MinusuriYou can't really complain much about the campsite itself, it just fits. The only thing is the supply of electricity and water (waste water) at the site. Not every pitch has direct access (cable drum!) and you have to walk a good distance for water/waste water. The paths get dusty in summer. One or two privacy screens would be good.
