Good location with lake access, Day trips to the Baltic Sea and the charming surroundings. Very good service, very friendly operators

Could get very hot in summer as there is no shade or trees
Days before Pentecost 2026
The two of us spent a fortnight at this well-equipped campsite.
Everything was super clean and very friendly. Many thanks to everyone involved, including the very good cleaning lady. Very tasty, fresh bread rolls in the morning! Great excursions by kayak, bike and on foot - lake tours and crossings....
Very nice Schwentine Safari with Mr. Estorf, a bookable offer from the city of Plön. Two trips to the Baltic Sea, .... . Every day a new discovery. We'd love to come back again!

A small downer: a member of the local sailing club couldn't allow us to use our kayak with you - because then anyone could come. Too bad, we had asked very politely because the lake was still very cold and we could have got in without getting our feet wet.

Relaxed hosts, good access to the lake, tidy sanitary facilities, shower on the beach

Public footpath runs through the square
Rest and windsurfing
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The pitches are equipped with electricity and fresh water. Which is a great feature.
The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean and well maintained.
The chemical toilet emptying system deserves great praise. We have never been able to empty our toilet... tank so easily.

In the shop you can get everything your heart desires, from a cheerful Moin to tasty rolls and all kinds of camping accessories that you may have lost.

We didn't try the kiosk next door. However, it was well frequented every day. Therefore, the offer seems to fit.

Dogs are not allowed on the site.

- Shower coins required (6 min per coin) - Shower coins must be deposited in the corridor and not in the shower cubicle
well-kept and quiet place
We were given a friendly welcome and shown the available pitches, from which we were able to choose one. We had already booked online. Most of the pitches are sunny and there is little shade.
The campsite is right on the lake with a small bathing area. There is also a small playground there, which belongs... to the municipality and not the campsite. The water is very shallow and you have to go a long way out to be able to swim. Bathing shoes are recommended. Although there are no stones on the bottom of the lake, it is very overgrown with plants.
There is a cycle path around the lake.
There is a bistro on the site. The tenant is very friendly and helpful. Food is also available to take away. However, preference is given to guests who eat on site. So you may have to wait longer to take away. The food was very tasty, but it is classic takeaway food. The pizza is recommended and seems to be homemade.
The campsite operators are also very friendly and the store belonging to the site is well stocked for a site of this size. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay by card in either the bistro or the store. The overnight stay on the site itself, however, can be paid for by card.
The wash house looked freshly renovated and was very clean. There are individual washing cubicles. Not every washbasin had plugs. The sinks for dishes were all equipped with plugs.
It was impractical that the showers, wash cubicles and toilets were in different rooms, so you always had to leave the wash house to change. The vending machine for the shower coins is in the hallway. So if you can't get by with one coin, you have to leave the shower cubicle to get a refill.
There are rags at all the washbasins so that you can clean up if necessary. I thought that was a good idea. But it would work better if they were absorbent cloths.
We felt very comfortable!

Great stay
We have rarely received such a warm and friendly welcome. The entire campsite makes a very well-kept impression without appearing "clean". Very reasonable prices. Good and free WLAN. The parceled-out pitches are very level, adequate but not overly large and, with a few exceptions, have completely intact... turf so that you can stand freely regardless of sand or mud patches. Despite the frequent change of campers, it was always quiet on the pitch and completely silent at night. The sanitary facilities inside are relatively new, clean and without frills, but the washing, shower and toilet cubicles are larger than usual and everything is in good condition. As on many pitches, there could be more waste water outlets (gray water) on the pitch. We really liked the baby and toddler washing area, although we no longer needed it. Someone has put some thought into it. The bathing area is very nice, very clear water, some vegetation in the lake, but you are in nature. The small store offers everything you need for camping at fair prices. Cycling around the lake and in the area is nice, but you have to reckon with one or two small climbs (Holstein Switzerland). Boating (without a motor) is also great. We will definitely come back again when we get the chance.

great place at the Plöner See
The site is in the middle of the village of Dersau with direct access to the Plöner See. The reception was very friendly and this friendliness never changed over the duration of our stay. Good infrastructure and sufficient sanitary facilities, which were always clean. Beautifully laid out, sometimes... spacious tourist pitches in an area dominated by permanent campers. There is a small store on the site for your daily needs. There is also a snack bar for in-between meals. The site is dog-free. Price-performance ratio with ADAC card absolutely ok and WD/WLAN included. We had a lovely time and will be back......

Hello, this is a good place. Too bad that dog owners are not allowed here, there would be enough space to organize pitches for dog owners!!!!!! great owners and many opportunities for active hiking

We enjoyed our first camping weekend here! A playground and a jetty that... leads into the water to jump in! Very friendly staff and the long-term campers are also very friendly! You want to go there again !!!
We stayed at the campsite for a second week at the beginning of July and were once again delighted. Super nice site owner, very large pitch, store with a reasonable selection (the boss baked me 2 pretzels on request ;-)), kiosk with small dishes for a small price!!! and the pitch fee - unbeatable. Very nice beach just a stone's throw away.

nice favorable place
We were in Dersau with our 3 children in July. It's a lovely site right on the lake. Most of the pitches are permanent pitches. The tourist meadow is close to the sanitary buildings and the reception. So short distances. The sanitary facilities are absolutely fine and were clean. The site operators are very nice and helpful. The price is absolutely unbeatable!

Minusuri
Green goo in the lake water, not recommended for swimming!
Peace and idyll
The approx. 220 pitches are mainly occupied by permanent campers and regular guests. The site is located directly on the lake, where there is also a children's playground, bathing area and jetty. Dogs are not allowed on the campsite. The pitches are mostly unshaded, sufficiently large and located on... slightly undulating grassland. There is a small store with a bread roll service and a snack bar. WLAN is available free of charge in the registration area. Shower coins are required for the showers, for 50 Ct the water runs for 5 minutes without stopping. The sanitary facilities are clean, modern and child-friendly. You can shop and refuel in Ascheberg, which is also easily accessible on foot or by bike. A visitor's tax is not charged, but there are litter bins, benches and signposts. We were impressed by the value for money, hence four stars.
