A good choice
The site is close to the lake (just across the road) is very well maintained (some of the sanitary facilities are almost new) and all the facilities are well maintained and functional. Most pitches offer shade (we had 36 degrees). Staff very friendly and helpful - and all at very reasonable prices (you can have it differently in this area. A clear recommendation for us!

Ideal for a quiet, relaxing vacation
We were able to book a comfort pitch two days before our arrival by calling the friendly and German-speaking reception. Some of the standard pitches are unsuitable for larger motorhomes. So please indicate the size of your motorhome beforehand. The comfort pitches are really recommendable with 90 to... 100 m² plus electricity and water. The comfort pitches in the rear area are particularly nice. The whole site looks very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are cleaned at least twice a day. On a somewhat negative note, there are no urinals for men. Toilet paper is only available once in front of the toilets. Soap dispensers and paper towels/hand dryers would also be desirable. Unfortunately, the new sanitary building at the back was not equipped with a disposal system for the chemical toilets, so you have to carry your cassette all over the pitch to empty it. You can live with these things and still enjoy your vacation. There is no entertainment, which we found very pleasant. The restaurant on site is recommended and is always well attended. There is no market on the campsite. The nearest shop is about 1.5 km away. Bread rolls can be ordered the day before in the bar.

Making the impossible possible
We arrived after a long hike and had hardly any hope of finding a small pitch for our tent after a number of cancellations from neighboring campsites. But we were helped here! We were offered a pitch in a shady corner and the day was saved - many thanks to the owners!

Good and cheap to stay overnight in the high season
In contrast to the other campsites on Lake Caldonazzo, this one is comparatively cheap. There is less comfort, but we didn't miss it either. The sanitary facilities were clean, but for large motorhomes it is a bit cramped. Ours was 7 m long, which was just about enough. For vacationers with dogs, there are few opportunities for walking. We will be back again.
