- D. C.March 2023Plusurispacious pitches, lots of space on the CP, very clean sanitary facilities, well-stocked store, close to the beach, close to the ferry dock to Cádiz, very friendly & helpful receptionMinusurino free choice of pitch, only after repeated requests did we get the desired pitch (CP was only 50% full), the front pitches are already affected by the background noise of the two soccer pitchesNice place in a good locationA very large campsite that is divided into several areas. We stood in the "pine forest" quite far "straight through". We didn't like the front pitches "in a row on the right" because you can hear the 3 sports fields (with lots of soccer training groups!) well into the evening. The pitches are on natural... ground and separated from each other by small walls. The service at reception is good in English and extremely friendly and courteous. There is a restaurant (good and a little too expensive for a campsite restaurant) and a well-stocked small store (also with camping accessories). The sanitary facilities are very, very clean and brand new, the showers are spacious with a small anteroom.
The site is located directly on the beach, separated only by a small road. The center of Puerto de Santa Maria is 15 minutes away by bike. A good idea is to take a boat trip to Cádiz (€5.20 p.p. return), the ferry terminal is approx. 10 min. away by bike, the boat departs several times a day. ACSI discount cards accepted.
A nice place...Tradus automat. - Wolfgang B.May 2022PlusuriWell suited for trips to Cádiz and the proximity to the beach.MinusuriSome of the vehicles are parked very close together.Beautiful place by the seaWe stayed at the campsite for a few days and liked it very much. You can get to Cádiz quickly and cheaply by ferry or bus. The departure point is very close by. The cycle paths are well developed and so we were able to go on some short tours, for example to the Bahía de Cádiz National Park.
Unfortunately, we were robbed at the ferry port of Puerto de Santa Maria.Tradus automat. - René R.June 2019PlusuriWell organized course Accessibility Cadiz beautiful pitches in the pine forestMinusuriboring environmentProfessionally managed courseTo register, you park your vehicle in a large parking lot behind the reception. The whole process is professional and also works in English. You are then sent with your vehicle to the usher, who asks for your preferences and then shows you suitable spaces. The spacious site is divided into two parts,... a flat, shadeless part (quite parking lot-like) and an older part in the pine forest, quite natural. There are many permanent campers here, but the area is so large that this is not a problem. The pitches here vary greatly in size. The sanitary facilities are ok and adequate. As is usual in Spain, not every sink has hot water. There is a very well-stocked store. We didn't try the restaurant at the entrance to the site. The beach itself is beautiful, but bordered by the harbor entrance on one side and the marina on the other. The ferry connection to Cadiz works very well (less than 30 minutes' walk to the jetty). For those who value security: There is an external security service at night, and site staff also make regular rounds. Pitch passes are carefully checked.Tradus automat.
- Werner B.January 2019PlusuriApprox. 500 m to the very extensive beachMinusuriSanitary in general, disinterested staff, hardly any English, no GermanApparently only motorhomes countWith the caravan you are regarded and treated as a second-class person. Unfriendly or disinterested staff, pitch allocation in the shade - moving "not possible" despite some "sunny" options. Wanted to stay from 02.01.19 for 12 days, left disappointed after 6 days. Sanitary only moderately clean, constantly... missing toilet paper, shower temperature not adjustable, even in winter far too few sinks with warm (not hot) water. In low season the kiosk at the campsite is closed, at least 20 min. walk into town. Suitable for excursions to Cadiz and the surrounding area, otherwise not again. No brochures about excursion possibilities, ferry connections etc., only brochures about various long past events - and only in Spanish. The staff only speak Spanish, little English and no German. Definitely never again.Tradus automat.
- Ramona V.August 2018PlusuriGreat beach, pool with slides, mountain bike tours during the season, the disco is outside the campsite, nice evening programMinusuriThe campsite is outside, so you need a car if you want to do anything.Perfect family campsiteAs a family of 5 we have been here twice and have already booked again with great pleasure! The place offers a lot and we feel very safe there. The beach is very clean, large and well maintained. The whole site was always clean and our mobile home is perfect. The shopping facilities in the supermarket on site are very good.Tradus automat.
- Camping I.February 2018PlusuriNicely laid out.MinusuriNo mixer tap in the showers, only on/off but no selectable temperatures. No toilet paper in the toilets. No mixer tap in the shower - a no-go in 2018In a mediocre 3-star place, you should be able to expect to be able to set your own shower temperature. Not possible here, only on or off. What century are we living in, please? I would accept no toilet paper in the toilet in free public sanitary facilities, but not on a campsite with 3 stars and at... this price. Playground only on the other side of the road. No drinking water on the pitch, only a few dispensers for the pitch. Otherwise nicely laid out and with a nice beach in front. The restaurant is not recommended for vegetarians, as almost only meat or fish dishes.Tradus automat.
- Grace J.December 2017PlusuriVery friendly staffGood locationThe campsite is fine. It has certain shortcomings such as difficulty in buying food or with leisure areas. The facilities were quite clean.Tradus automat.
- Christiane L.November 2017PlusuriCatamaran to Cádiz only about 2km away, large pitches. Clean sanitary facilities. Village very lively even in the off-season, within walking distance of the beach.MinusuriWLAN costs extra, no paper in the toilets.Ideal for a visit to Cádiz. 25 min walk to the Cádiz catamaran pier.Pitch was ok, especially the location is good. Very friendly reception, clean sanitary facilities, but never forget to bring your own toilet paper. There are no dispensers available. Only 50% of the dishwashing areas have hot water, but they are cleaned regularly. With ACSI 17€ in the low season. The... place is only a bit desolate on the harbor road. The rear area, on the other hand, is very nice and very lively even in the low season. Beautiful market hall, church, bull arena, sherry locations, tapas bars. Also worth staying for several days. Will be back and can only recommend the place overall. WLAN per 24h 4€, several days of course cheaper.Tradus automat.
- matheo d.June 2017Camping with nice lodationThe camping was ok, especially the location. The toilets were clean but sometimes no hot water or toilet paper. You have to pay for a few basic things, like the wifi (4 € per day)! The staff were friendly with us. We would probably come back if we are around.
- Carsten S.June 2017PlusuriRight by the seaMinusuriNo FREE WIFI for its guests in 2017Right by the seaThe huge site is right by the sea. But if you're at the very back, in the pine forest, you'll need food and a compass). Feix. The sanitary blocks are very clean but without hot water and paper. The pool is great and closed at lunchtime (open from 4pm to 8pm). No FREE WIFI. You have to buy it for 4 € per day. Reception staff were very unfriendly. You have to pay for everything here (small motorcycle trailer, pavilion etc.).Tradus automat.
- Valentin E.August 2015Very nice and well managed placeIt takes a lot for me to submit such a good application. This place deserves it! The pitches are big enough, at least for me, and practically all of them are shady. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean. They are cleaned several times a day. The catering options are good. I would visit this campsite again at any time.Tradus automat.
- Friedemann P.March 2015PlusuriQuiet and centralMinusuriI cannot yet recognize. You can have a good time hereMy first motorhome trip at the age of 68 as a single person. The site was recommended to me when I visited the Jerez tourist information office. Generally a quiet and very clean site. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily. Each about 5 hours - washing machine filling 5,-- € incl. detergent - supermarket... Mercadona 10 min. I am very pleasantly surprised. Womo + trailer incl. vintage car for 1 month 372,-- € incl. electricity, I recommend a prepaid card from Orange. Then Wifi . costs no longer play a role.Tradus automat.
- Ulf D.May 2014Very large spaceLarge and spacious site, partly in the pine forest and well shaded; good, modern and clean sanitary facilities (initially only one wash house open) with unfortunately much too hot (and not adjustable) showers; Wifi on the entire site for a fee; restaurant; electricity 10A; nearby beach and promenade;Tradus automat.
- Günther M.May 2014PlusuriClose to the city, close to the beach, facilitiesMinusuriDusty in dry conditions,Space for sightseeing and relaxationWe were there in May in the low season! Beautiful site by the sea, clean and well maintained. The pitches are all level, but some are quite small. We were in the rear area in the pine forest on a large pitch. Wifi costs: €4 per day, €10 for 7 days; reception everywhere but very difficult to dial in,... the network operator probably has server problems. The beach is directly in front of the entrance across a road. Restaurant on site, I can't say anything about the quality, we didn't eat there. However, the restaurant was always busy. You can also buy your baguette there in the morning. The market is closed. El Puerte de Santa Maria is easy to reach by bike or on foot and is very attractive. There are also regular ferries to Cádiz about 500 m away (approx. €2.40). We had to deal with a few mosquitoes, probably due to the strong wind in between. The access road is signposted very early on. Waste disposal on site, swimming pool facilities available, even for the little ones.Tradus automat.
- Giuseppe M.July 2012served well by public transportation, convenient cab if several people, also connected well with nearby cities by train and motorboat.Tradus automat.
- Roland M.May 2012Beautiful, spacious campsite near the village. Ferry to Cadiz 20 min. walking distance. Good sanitary facilities. Wifi throughout the site, but expensive.Tradus automat.
- Guillaume T.August 2011We were there from 24.07-11.08.11 and had a very good rest.sanitary facilities very clean, daily cleaning.staff very friendly.mainly visited by locals, had a great atmosphere.beach very large and fine sand.only in front of the water were shells and small stones, but it was no problem to get into the water.Restaurant... was great, even if it doesn't seem like it, cheap prices and very tasty.in midsummer you should stand under the pine trees, very useful at 38 degrees.climate was fantastic, that's why we accepted 2400 km.place is a bit dusty, but that doesn't bother a true camper.but if you like luxury, you should avoid this place.I can highly recommend it, it was not the last time there.Tradus automat.
- paulo s.August 2011a high quality park. a lot of professionalism from the people who work there. i miss you very muchTradus automat.
- Oliver S.January 2011In the winter season 362.65 euros including motorhome, 2 people and electricity is quite cheap for a month, well suited for wintering, shopping is 900 m away, no luxury camping but good standard. Quick access to the beach and not far from the town (1.2 km), lots of space in the pitches.Tradus automat.
- E. S.July 2010No hot water at the washbasins, no individual wash cubicles. But: sanitary area always clean, as supervised all day. Staff very friendly from reception to sanitary facilities. Some pitches a bit sandy but very nice under the pine canopy. The site has no luxury but very good showers and sanitary facilities... and atmosphere. We have been there 4 times and always felt very comfortable. We will go again. Nice swimming pool, great huge beach. Decent restaurant. Reservations are recommended. The town and surroundings are typical Andalusia!Tradus automat.
