The nearby village is beautiful.
Minusuri
Extremely unfriendly owner.
Never again!
It's all very cramped. Tiny campsites—one RV right next to another. Not much room for a table and chairs. No peace and quiet, no privacy, and no romance. So: Once and never again.

The Pearl of the Bernese Oberland
A beautiful campground with a panoramic view of the mountains. No fixed sites. Spots are assigned based on availability and needs. A lovingly maintained campground with many thoughtful details and art installations. Functional and clean restroom facilities. A friendly and accommodating owner. You feel welcome and well taken care of. We’d love to come back.

Unfriendly operator
Very unfriendly operator
Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I made a reservation and canceled it less than 10 minutes later. I still had to pay the full amount. Even worse: my passport was withheld until I paid - this is illegal and a massive breach of trust.

The owner was very unfriendly and showed no goodwill or understanding. This is no way to treat guests. I strongly advise against booking here.

We stayed 6 nights here. One day my girlfriend asked the owner, do you also accept Euro, she replied "of course". Last day i wanted to pay, she said i will set the exchange rate, i will not apply normal exchange rate from internet. I told her we did not beg you to pay Euro, we just asked and you said of course. She set the price to high and i did not accept. I withdrawed money from bank and even with fees and exchange rate, it was way cheaper than her offer. I dont like penny counter businesses, they fail anyway

Beautiful place with mountain panorama
The campsite is open from mid-May to mid-October. The reception is very friendly. The pitches are beautifully situated and you can see the mountains from practically every pitch. Although the road is nearby, the site is very quiet at night. The toilet facilities are clean and the showers are included... in the price. You can only buy the essentials at the kiosk, but there is a bakery and a grocery store in the village about 300m away on foot. The Volg is open on Sunday mornings. A bread roll service from the bakery is available in high season. From Aeschi "Post" there is a bus to Spiez every 30 minutes. The bus stop directly at the CP is served every hour. The bus has a bike rack. We would love to come back!

A dream of a location Lawn pitches Clean sanitary facilities Peace and quiet

No essentials found....
Very well-kept garden campsite
Fantastic location high above Lake Thun, about 5 minutes' walk from the village center. Level pitches on a beautiful lawn. It has terraces or a large field at the top with 360° panoramic views of the Alps. Sunny and partly interspersed with trees. Clean, simple, modern sanitary building. Table tennis... and meeting point with canvas roof. Otherwise little infrastructure. The campsite is surrounded by beautiful wooden chalets and has the character of a park. The Postbus takes guests from Aeschi to Spiez or the surrounding villages every half hour. There are numerous restaurants and shopping facilities in the large village. The pretty wooden houses form a unique backdrop along the hiking trails. A great starting point for the whole of the Bernese Oberland. Motorhomes with a large overhang should inspect the campsite well in advance and drive a little way around the inclines. We recommend the site to all people who like to spend their vacation or a weekend in beautiful nature and with little "hustle and bustle".
