We've just spent two very pleasant weeks at the Porte d'Autan campsite in Saissac. Many thanks again to Jean-Louis and Stéphanie, the owners, for their reliability and availability. This very quiet campsite has very clean facilities, a beautiful swimming pool (with paddling pool) that's always pleasant... (28° to 29°) and shady pitches that are very useful during hot spells. What's more, this campsite is ideally located geographically, and there's no shortage of things to do and see: the town of Carcassonne, of course (don't hesitate to take the city pass, which includes a 2h30 guided tour of the town, a 1h30 river trip and discounts for visits to many sites in the département thanks to the tourist passport), the Château de Saissac, Lastours, the Cité de l'Espace (1h15 drive via Revel) and Airbus in Toulouse, Narbonne (beach and town), the Revel market on Saturday mornings, where you'll find great regional produce, hiking trails, the Saint-Ferréol lake...
