- Ingrid W.August 2021PlusuriLocation and surroundingsMinusurinoneSmall beach area with charmIt's great that there are still such beautiful, small, lovely, well-located campsites that still offer an appealing service. I'd love to come back.Tradus automat.
- Claudi M.July 2021PlusuriThe location is great, the beach can be reached quickly.MinusuriThere are none for us, that's why we come here.Again and againThe small, family-run site "die Möwe" is perfect for us: the children can run around freely and always get to know other children. The small pool is also great for cooling off. The best thing is the beach, which you can reach quickly - and spend the whole day there. The staff are nice and friendly. We come back again and again.Tradus automat.
- Olaf R.September 2019PlusuriLocationMinusuriCramped parking spaces, therefore no peace and quietWho likes it...We only stayed at the campsite for one night. The location is ideal, direct access to the beach. But that was about it. Small pitches, average sanitary facilities, mediocre restaurant. Somehow the site exudes German allotment garden charm. Lots of German regulars, you know each other... One comment:... we are proud dog owners ourselves, but we were ashamed to be there. We have never seen so much dog dirt on the way to and on the beach! (it's not the CP's fault)Tradus automat.
- klaus b.August 2019Plusurisomething for everyone. eating and drinking can be cheapMinusuriEating out can be expensivepleasantly surprisedend of august 2019. originally we had the south of france as our destination. it was night and we couldn't have checked in anywhere. i decided to drive a little further, to spain, catalonia. the cp La Gaviota, one of countless in the area. pure coincidence that we ended up here. spontaneously, without... advance info and without booking. i like to just go for it without planning. we arrived at night and were still let into the parking lot by a cool employee. we were able to stay there until reception opened. everything was pretty straightforward. the site is rather small, the pitches sufficient, everything clean and we parked our caravans at..... vacation. everyone at the cp is pretty relaxed, the staff friendly, helpful and there is a nice swimming pool that we never used, as well as a restaurant. a small market on the cp was our daily port of call for this and that. our car was also on vacation. 2 weeks. we simply didn't need it to explore the area and have fun. on foot or mostly by bike. the town of sant pere pescador is 2 km away. the cp is a good base for everything you want to do. we can recommend the campsite itself. the surrounding area too. you can find hustle and bustle in the surrounding area but also absolute peace and quiet if you want. there are many families with children and dogs on the cp and many are here every year. many german citizens, the inclined beholder can sometimes get the impression of being in a german enclave. for many an advantage, for us an acceptable fate. theoretically, you can just stay on the cp and enjoy a stress-free vacation. the sea 200m away and the endless sandy beach as well as the adjacent nature park are enough. on the way to the water you pass a cool beach bar. the sea is many meters shallow and therefore also great for children and non-swimmers. you'll find plenty of space right by the water or anywhere else, a huge sandy beach backdrop. to the left you look towards the bed castles of roses and to the right towards the bed castles of l'escala. but that seems far away and you don't feel stressed by the hustle and bustle there. really cool. if you're feeling adventurous, you can get around on foot or by bike. once a week there is a market in sant pere. mostly black africans sell sneakers and all sorts of things that nobody really needs. unobtrusive and friendly. you can also buy food. you can also eat well in sant pere. however, it can be quite expensive. if you want to get your fill without getting poor, we recommend pizza eric. here and there people, young and old, smoke cannabis in public. it is tolerated and nobody takes offense. in general, the catalonians/spanish are quite relaxed and tolerant. we had 0 stress in any situation. everything was tranquillo. what to criticize? ok, there is always something. but all complaining is relative. the dissatisfied person will not find a comfortable chair anywhere. i/we found it great.Tradus automat.
- Thomas K.May 2018PlusuriCleanliness Direct beach location Friendliness Lawn pitchMinusuriToo expensive without ACSI card No free WIFI and then overpricedClean CP directly on the beach - unfortunately a bit overpricedI was given a very friendly welcome and a nice grass pitch was quickly found. Very shady pitch, which made satellite reception very difficult. Beautiful location, right on the sandy beach. The sanitary facilities and the whole site were always super clean. Small minimarket and restaurant at the reception. Unfortunately, the campsite is a bit overpriced without an ACSI card, and the wifi is also very expensive. :-(Tradus automat.
- Sonja K.May 2018PlusuriClose to the sea Proximity to nature reserve 8ideal cycling and hiking area)MinusuriKitesurfer's paradise, somewhat unfavorable for swimmers, not separated in the low season.also beautiful in the NebensaosonWe were last there four times in the high season/late low season. Family of 4, children under 13. Simple, small site, narrow pitches, proximity to the sea is unbeatable. Unfortunately, the "corners" in the sanitary facilities are now beginning to fall victim to the daily wiping.Tradus automat.

- Dagmar C.September 2016PlusuriSmall but nice campsite. In addition to the beach, there are numerous cultural/historical attractions nearbyMinusuriNone foundQuiet CP right on the beachVery friendly, German-speaking staff. Sanitary facilities and the entire campsite were very clean. The restaurant located directly in front of the CP offers tasty food and drinks at a reasonable price. The well-stocked supermarket is also open on Sundays. Suitable for people with animation phobia.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping La Gaviota March 26, 2017Thank you for your review.

Camping la GaviotaTradus automat. - Martina R.September 2016PlusuriLocation directly on the beach, friendly staff, very clean sanitary facilities, good restaurant on siteMinusurinoneGreat vacation on the beautiful sandy dune beachWe (a couple with a dog) spent 16 days at CP La Gaviota in September. It was a very successful and beautiful vacation for us. We received a friendly welcome at reception on arrival and were given a very nice pitch. We didn't miss anything on the pitch. We can recommend the restaurant, both the tapas... and the paella were very tasty. The price-performance ratio in the restaurant is excellent. The small supermarket has everything you need for daily life. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and were cleaned several times a day, so special praise to the cleaning staff. The overall impression of the campsite is also excellent, thanks to the constant efforts of the gardener. The reception staff were always helpful and very friendly. We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back next year. Many thanks again. P.S. The place was fully booked in the low season. Tip: Book in advance.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping La Gaviota October 3, 2016Good day,

Camping La GaviotaTradus automat. - Simone S.September 2015PlusuriClose to the beachMinusuriPlay hall for younger children cannot be "avoided"Not only surfer place, close to the beach, no big animation and funAs a family with two children (8+7 years old), we really enjoyed this small campsite, which doesn't offer the big entertainment program, no slide and all-day childcare. And yet we were all on vacation. The proximity to the beach (approx. 50m over the dune) is nice, and the permanently supervised pool... gives parents peace of mind. The "arcade" is difficult, as it is always accessible. The market offers everything you need quickly - at the usual pitch prices; We found the restaurant very tasty, even taking food to the pitch is no problem; The site is characterized by the proximity of the ski surfers; The pitches are very different in size; But due to the short distances it is not bad to park the car on the guarded forecourt of the campsite; Despite 48 hours of continuous rain, the sanitary facilities were always clean! Compliments to the team; many individual garbage cans on the pitches, which are emptied 1-2 times a day! 24-hour security, friendly, German-speaking reception We were well rested after our 10 daysTradus automat.
- Alexander T.September 2015PlusuriLocation and flairMinusurinoneBeautiful place with great flairWe stayed here for one night at the beginning of September as we were passing through. There was a German employee at reception, so the check-in went smoothly. The campsite was still busy but we had a choice of several pitches. We particularly liked the atmosphere on the site: a mixture of lively locals,... surfers and other campers. All the pitches are big enough, but could be a bit cramped for larger caravans. The sanitary facilities are very nice and were very clean. There is a small swimming pool, supermarket and restaurant on site. The restaurant serves delicious tapas and cocktails (we tried them ourselves). Particularly worth mentioning are the extremely friendly, attentive and cheerful waiters with whom you can improve your language skills. The beautiful beach with gentle dunes is about 200m away. We would definitely stay at this campsite again and for longer. PS: The campsite was recommended to us by the owner of the XXL camping store in the village. However, the store is a bit hidden. You can get everything you need for camping there (our water pump was broken).Tradus automat.
- Axel H.June 2015PityToo bad after all these years with you no place in the bungalows in the fall out of season in the bungalows with a small dog - we are very disappointed and will not visit you again ... too badTradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping La Gaviota March 26, 2017The guidelines of our campsite state that dogs are not allowed in the bungalows and mobile homes. This applies to the whole season. We cannot make any exceptions, it would not be fair to the other guests.
We are sorry that you have made this decision.Tradus automat. - Jürgen M.October 2014PlusuriIdeal for camping with a dog in the low seasonAny time againWe stayed at the campsite for 2 weeks in October 2014. When we arrived the site was pretty full, there were only about 10 pitches left and then it got emptier and emptier. Super friendly German-speaking staff at reception. We were allowed to choose a pitch. The sanitary facilities were always clean and... the green areas were always well maintained. A dream for dog owners in the low season. The restaurant also served take-away food - the pizza and pasta dishes were great, but we didn't try the rest. There is a huge sandy beach right in front of the campsite, ideal for swimming even in October. Some sights in the immediate vicinity. Even with ACSI there is no difference between the pitches. I would stay here again at any time.Tradus automat.

- ciN D.August 2014PlusuriClose to the beach, cleanliness, great service, delicious foodMinusuriFew opportunities to retreat into the shadeSuper beach location, clean, small and familiarWe have already been there three times 2 adults, 2 children, dog, tent. The site owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. As the site is not large and cars don't drive back and forth very often, we never had any problems just letting the children run around. You can also let older children who... can swim go to the pool on their own. The "lifeguard", who watches over the swimmers under the parasol all day long, is friendly but firm if he thinks it's getting too colorful :) The food in the restaurant is consistently delicious. The sanitary facilities are always clean, nothing to complain about. I find the site only partially suitable for dogs in summer, as there is little shade and no forest or similar nearby. However, four-legged friends are of course welcome. The supermarket is small, but it's good for breakfast and a quick shop in between. For larger purchases, it's better to go to a supermarket in St. Pere or Figueres. I also think it's great that fridges are rented out for the vacation period (43 EUR for 2 weeks), in which you can easily store larger quantities of food. It's a 3-minute walk to the fantastic sandy dune beach and you can take a siesta in the "Chiringuito" beach hut (which is not part of the campsite). Great place, highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!Tradus automat.
