Plusuri
- Very easy to reach, close to the highway - All important things for supply and disposal available. - In the low season you should stock up on bread and rolls in advance, especially if you only want to stay one night. - Good sanitary facilities, somewhat older but well maintained and clean! - Large pitches with and without shade, some uneven. - Very quiet at night, beautiful view of the Pyrenees during the day. - Pitches partly grass, partly gravel.
Minusuri
- No toilet paper in the sanitary facilities - Restaurant closed in the low season, although the site is full of people passing through almost every day. - Bread roll service in the low season
Great place to spend the night on the way to and from Spain
We have been coming to this campsite for several years as "travelers passing through" and are satisfied with what is on offer. This year we are staying here a few days longer as another campsite in France is still closed. This gives us the opportunity to take a closer look at the site and do some shopping... in La Jonquera.
We will definitely return to this campsite as long as it is available.
Important! The early bird catches the worm! Between 13:00 and 17:00, most of those passing through arrive at this campsite, the choice is relatively large, but also limited.

is easy to reach from the highway, even with a tandem axle caravan we got a pitch in May. Showers and toilets are clean and tidy. Hot water runs well.
Minusuri
actually none.
Met while driving past
If you want and need more luxury, you should try a hotel - camping is simply not the right place for you. 😊

Plusuri
Beautiful natural campsite. Suitable for drive-through camping.
Minusuri
Everything is kept very simple. No toilet paper available, dirty dishwashing area (old leaves). Poor internet, price/performance is not right. In the last 3 years the price was increased from 21.-€ to 28.-€. Without offering any improvement. When asked why the price increase, it was explained: If the others do it, we have to do it too. I will no longer be coming.
Price/performance
In the last 3 years, the pitch has been increased from €21 to €28.
Without any improvement in the situation.
When asked why such an increase was made,
the argument was: "Because everyone else is doing it too".
We were there for the last time!

Proximity to the highway
Minusuri
Not even bread available on site. Sanitary facilities on the hill.
Just passing through...
Recommended at best when passing through due to the proximity to the highway.
The sanitary block at the top of the hill is an imposition for people with walking difficulties. The same applies to waste disposal - also only at the top of the hill...
There are no, but really no shopping facilities on the site - if you ask for bread, you are grumpily referred to the bakery in the village - a no-go these days.

Proximity to the highway
Minusuri
Wash houses, possibility of toilet disposal, no possibility for shopping
Transit point to/from the south
Simple campsite with equally simple infrastructure, including toilets and wash houses.
Large area for parking your vehicle without markings. Electricity and fresh water nearby.
Disposing of toilets is a bit of a hassle at the wash house located on a hill. Gray water disposal is in front of the campsite... near the garbage containers.
We only use the site as a transit site on the way to and from the south.
Due to the lack of infrastructure (no shopping possible even at the reception), we do not consider longer stays to be appropriate.
The journey is difficult for large motorhomes or caravans due to the narrow road and bends.

Directly behind the French/Spanish border. border. Close to the highway. Approx. 6 km.
Good overnight accommodation on the way to and from the south
Beautiful and quiet location in the mountains. Very suitable as an overnight stop on the journey to and from the south. Nice village nearby. Under Spanish management. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The site is well maintained and tidy. We would love to come back. For me a suitable place, just... before the Spanish/French border, to spend the night on the outward and return journey from the south of Spain. There is nothing to add to the rating. We will continue to use the site on our journey to and from the south. It was our first time on the new large meadow. The caravan could stay attached.

Peace and quiet - friendliness
Minusuri
hardly any children's activities - lots of cats
Ideal place to spend the night ... but also more
We stayed at this campsite twice with a camper van, 2 children (14 years old) and 2 dogs. The operator and the staff are very friendly and courteous. The pitches are large to very large (free choice of pitches). After a strenuous drive to/from Spain, the peace and quiet there is very soothing. You can... relax wonderfully and also explore the surrounding area (very beautiful landscape) on foot. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. Water and electricity are available on every pitch. As there are not many activities for children, a longer stay is only recommended for couples. There are also several cats running around the site, which is a pain for "sensitive" dogs. We would definitely visit the site again!

The camping is very quiet and clean. Lots of space available even in high season. No breakfast or shop. Wifi is to be paid in addition. Nice pool. About 40 minutes drive from the beaches and Figueres. 10 minutes to the highway entrance to France or to Barcelona.

We use this campsite as a transit campsite to and from Spain. The staff are friendly, the pitches are spacious, the sanitary facilities are very basic but clean. For 1.2 nights it is ok. But nothing more.

The site is very remote, in the countryside just after the French/Spanish border. An ideal site when passing through to Spain. In winter the reception is only staffed for one hour a day and there is no restaurant/shop or kiosk, so it is only for self-catering.

A site with absolute peace and quiet. The sanitary facilities are simple and clean. The site owner is Dutch and speaks good German. We were only there for one night on our way south. The village of Capmany is only a 5-minute walk away. In my opinion, the price of €16.70 is a bit high for this time of year.
