A good place to stay on the way to the ferry terminal
We used the campground for an overnight stop on our way to Sweden.

Check-in was a bit rocky because our reservation wasn’t in the system. But the problem was quickly resolved. Our campsite was spacious, and the restrooms were modern and very clean. The gate opens at 7:00 a.m. (for example, if you want to catch an early ferry), and you can simply drop the gate pass in the mailbox.

Far too expensive for campers
As campers, we have had rather mediocre experiences. The tents are in the noisiest alleyway to the street and the playground. Campers have to insert coins to prepare hot water on a hotplate, while caravan campers can boil their water in the caravan free of charge. There is no recreation room where you... can spend time in the rain, for example. Then there was hours of noise EVERY day from the ride-on lawnmower. The garbage cans are also emptied very loudly. You will look in vain for a hairdryer in the washrooms. The water pressure in the showers is pathetic. With a reasonable water pressure you would maybe shower for 3 to 5 minutes. (If you have longer hair) you would certainly shower for 30 minutes with the existing water pressure. We can't see where there would be any savings here. And for that you pay 37 euros per night with a small 2-person tent. Simply far too expensive...

Plusuri
Modern sanitary facilities, very clean; good location for excursions by bike to Lübeck, Travemünde and along the Baltic Sea.
Minusuri
no essentials; but very poor / no WLAN. Path is very stony (tripping hazards).
Good location, very well-kept campsite
Stay with caravan for a long weekend (3 nights, Easter). Ideal for excursions by bike to Lübeck, Travemünde, Timmendorfer Strand, Priwall, Boltenhagen. The site makes a very well-kept impression. The sanitary facilities are modern (at least the sanitary building in the northern part) and are cleaned... several times a day. However, the number of combined toilet/washroom/shower rooms is somewhat limited, which can lead to waiting times. In unfavorable wind conditions, some noise can be heard from the nearby quays. However, this did not bother us. There was no WiFi reception on our pitch in the northern part of the campsite. However, mobile phone reception was very good (so WiFi is not that important). The path (no. 6) had been filled in with very stony building material and was therefore difficult to walk and cycle on.
Overall, we felt very comfortable and will gladly come back to the campsite.

- Very nicely situated. -You can easily reach Lübeck, Boltenhagen and Timmendorfer Strand by bike. - Many toilets and showers. - Drinking water tap. - When it's not full, plenty of space and, above all, free choice of seats. - Small swimming area. - Very nice.
Minusuri
- Extremely loud on the tent meadow. - Nearby Schwedenkai very loud. Noise all night from truck traffic to the quay and loading and unloading of ships.
Nice location, but unfortunately very loud with a tent
Seems very idyllic at first glance. In principle, the week's vacation was very nice.
The lack of sleep in the tent meadow was unpleasant. Unfortunately we hardly got any sleep. The noise pollution from the nearby Schwedenkai was very high. In addition, at some point there were unfortunately bullis on... the tent meadow. Even more noise from opening and closing doors. Otherwise 80% Bullis or camper vans. So the noise from the tailgate is probably not so noticeable.
Summary: very nice campsite. When camping with a tent, you have to be prepared for a lot of noise at night.

If you go shopping and come back between 13-15 they don't let you drive through the gate because you are not new customer. It was called siesta, but still receptionist and gardeners were working and making noise. We needed to wait 1,5 hours beside the gate with two starving kids and our stuff was in the paid pitch!
Good position but bad service for existing customers
Is this German hospitality that existing customer has already paid and they doesn't need any service anymore?

Nice campsite in a good location
The proximity to the Baltic Sea and the city of Lübeck is great. The transport links are also good. The site is a good starting point for cycling or sightseeing. However, the site is apparently only recommended during official opening hours.

Sanitary building far apart
Large clean placeSanitary facilities far apart
Large campsite with plenty of pitches, one half mainly occupied by permanent campers. Large Italian restaurant, friendly welcome and service here too.
Sufficiently large pitches, electricity, water supply on the pitch, well-paved pitch one side with hedge, and the others marked with thick ropes.
Pitch for 2 people, caravan and incl. electricity €35.00/night.
Seems to be the standard price now, as in Scandinavia.

Large pitches, quiet at night, close to the ferry port, Travemünde within walking distance, public transport right outside the door (for visiting Lübeck)
Minusuri
a bit far away from the Baltic Sea if you want to go on a beach vacation
Large space in a good location
We visited the campsite twice on our way to and from Sweden. It is ideally located, only 3 km from the ferry port. The public transport connections are very good, you can travel from the site to Lübeck every hour. Travemünde is within walking distance (3 km to the center), which saves the search for a parking space. Shopping facilities are available within a short distance.

A separate dog area for the dogs to let off steam would be very good.
Quiet ,Clean ,Price OK
Were here for 1 week to switch off, which we also succeeded, the bread service, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities (3x a day these are cleaned) and the dogs of the friendly with campers were simply ideal for us and our dog. Also the bus connections to the city and other nearby towns, e.g. Lübeck,... bus stop right outside the door, for us it was totally relaxed to reach everything by bike within a radius of 30 km, dog in the bike trailer, what he likes, and off we go.
All in all a successful week.

Our vacation in Ivendorf
We liked it very much. We would book this place again and again. Here you have peace and relaxation. The groundsman also ensures peace and quiet if it gets too loud with the campers. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned daily. The site is well laid out so that you can feel comfortable.

Beautiful CP
We were there from 28.10.-01.11. and received a very friendly welcome. The pitches are ok. Each pitch in our row had its own electricity connection. You had to walk a bit for water. The sanitary facilities were very clean. Unfortunately, the shower buttons are very low. The shelves in the showers for clothes etc were very small, the space for changing was very tight. Otherwise everything was fine.

Very friendly staff
I used the campsite for an overnight stay and was pleasantly surprised. The location is absolutely quiet. The lady at reception was friendly and very informative. The choice of pitches was extensive. The sanitary building was spotlessly clean. There is a kiosk and a pizzeria on site. Bread roll service is offered. It was very quiet in the off-season. You are quickly back on the highway. The signs to the campsite are good.
