Many beautiful hiking and biking trails.MinusuriUnfortunately, it's often fully booked 😉We had a great timeWe’re repeat visitors and always enjoy coming back to CP Hopfensee. We feel very at home here. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
The restrooms were always clean, even when the campground was fully booked.
The campground is well-maintained, and a lot has been updated and renovated since our last visit. 👍🏼

- 5.0MSMichael S.Iunie 2026PlusuriIt has everything a campground needs. It's clean and quiet despite being pretty full. The cleaning staff is very attentive and does a great job.MinusuriThe ground at the campsite is very hard—that's something you should know. Now I know why the kiosk sells those long steel stakes. An Alpine DreamWe had site 410. What I didn't know at the time of booking was that the site had been completely redesigned and is one of the highest sites on the grounds. It simply offers a fantastic view of the mountains and, over the roofs of the other RVs, of the lake.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul!

Mike K.Februarie 2026PlusuriElectricity, water and waste water on site. Modern sanitary facilities Indoor swimming pool wellness area Playhouse (billiards etc.) Large pitches restaurant Perfect access to the lake Good starting point for cyclingMinusurinonemega space 🙂We will definitely be back.
The site offers everything you need and more.
The sanitary facilities are clean and modern, the indoor pool is good. you could also have a massage in the wellness area.
The starting point for cycling is good or you can take the bus to Füssen or to the castles.
Simply mega and have nothing negative to say.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul! - 4.0
Jürgen K.Octombrie 2025PlusuriNice layout of the plots. Directly on the lake and in a very scenic location. Good location for excursions. Very child-friendly.MinusuriIndoor pool very nice, but sometimes overcrowded with swimmers. At certain times, sometimes waiting times at the toilets.Very nice CP directly at the HopfenseeWe stayed at the campsite for 7 nights in October 2025. We liked it very much.it is beautifully situated directly on the Hopfensee, which we would not consider a typical bathing lake in summer.unfortunately we hardly saw the mountains during the days due to permanently low-hanging clouds and zero wind.the... plots are usually between 80 and 100 square meters in size. There is an asphalted area on the pitch where you have to position your camper van or Womo. The camper van should be positioned on this area so that any awning protrudes over the paved area. Some of the pitches are bordered by hedges. We really liked that. Otherwise, all pitches are equipped with electricity (16A), water and waste water as well as SAT connection. The campsite offers a lot for children (which is why it is very popular and quickly booked out during the vacations); from a really large games hall with a great range of activities, cinema, indoor swimming pool, soccer pitch etc.. There are also wellness facilities such as a sauna (for a fee), a small store and a restaurant, and because the campsite is laid out like a park, we really liked the ambience and flair of the place. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful, and there can be (parking) problems at the entrance to the campsite if you arrive early. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day, which was necessary as the toilets were very busy due to the size of the campsite. The showers were really great! In the morning there were often waiting times at the toilets as they were all occupied. Good W-Lan on the site and due to its location and proximity to Austria it offers very good excursion possibilities. We will definitely be back (if there are still places available during the vacation season)!Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul! - 5.0
Moni B.Septembrie 2025PlusuriCleanliness around the clock every day in the washrooms. The tarred areas in front of the caravan are ideal, dry quickly and there is no mud and dirt under the awning.MinusuriWe were missing a bookcase for swapping vacation reads. We know this from other places and think it's a good idea.Autumn vacation in the foggy AllgäuWe stayed at this beautiful campsite for a week. Short walk to the lake from our pitch 52. Paradise for children (playhouse) Good connection to the town of FüssenMinusuriNone available!5star campsite Hopfensee! Absolutely recommendable!5 star campsite on the Hopfensee. We were completely thrilled! It was the first time we had visited this campsite for a week.
Starting with the friendliness of the reception staff, we had always heard good-humored employees who were extremely friendly in dealing with their customers, not to forget the... cleaning staff who were just as friendly and motivated, this could be seen in the sanitary facilities, at any time of day it was extremely clean, even at peak times.
Sufficient sanitary facilities available.
The indoor pool is very tastefully designed, swimming is very good in the morning and evening hours.
The campsite also has a fitness room, sauna area and massage room. The impression was very inviting.
The pitches are very well laid out, each pitch has a paved area for the awning. It kept dry even in heavy rain.
We found the playhouse for the children excellent, first class! There is an area for very small kids, the area for older children has a soccer pitch, basketball, table tennis, billiards, air field hockey, trampolines, obstacle course and slide.
There is also an outdoor soccer pitch and a tennis court. There is a restaurant on the campsite which is also highly recommended, and there are other options in front of the campsite on the Hopfensee lakeside promenade.
The location of the campsite is very central, shopping facilities and a trip to the beautiful old town of Füssen can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The circular walk around the Hopfensee is also recommended.
Our conclusion about the place: We are already looking forward to the next two stays next year, what is run here is absolutely worth 5 stars!!!Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. We were here with the children and granddaughter as well as our dog and we all felt very comfortable. There is a dog shower and also dog paths to run around. Despite the bad weather, there are plenty of opportunities to relax here. Whether in the... swimming pool or in the sauna and for the little ones and older ones in the playhouses.
Top service, all-round, very friendly staff who are always ready to help with any questions. Top sanitary facilities that are constantly cleaned. The pitches are beautiful and spacious. The view is magnificent.
Nice localities within walking distance, 1 restaurant directly on site and many shopping facilities 4 km away. No garbage cans anywhere, so there is a lot of garbage by the lake. Anyone can enter the site at any time. Motorcycles kept driving past us at night A bit of entertainment for children would be nice The only large wash house is sometimes completely closed for cleaningVery nice with small deductionsAll in all, a nice place with minor disadvantages.

Due to the location on a gentle slope, many pitches have a direct view of the lake and the Alps.
The pitches are relatively large and everything looks very tidy and well-kept. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition.
There is a relatively... extensive range of entertainment and wellness facilities, although we didn't make use of them.
The small store on the campsite offers the most necessary items (note: there is no larger grocery store in the village!).
A tiny drop of bitterness: the reception staff could be a little more motivated and interested in the guests. You always got the impression that there were more important things than the customer at the counter and that you should be gone quickly.
Tip: You can hike around the lake from the campsite with very beautiful views. It's a good 7 kilometers and can easily be walked in 1.5 to 2 hours.Tradus automat.1 turist a considerat utilă această evaluare. - 5.0RBRENE B.Aprilie 2025PlusuriSuper clean, top bathroomsMinusuriElectricity extraMr.Everything was great, keep it up, we liked it, will definitely be back, best regardsTradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare.
