The staff is really friendly, the campsites are spacious, and it's very peaceful. The restrooms are clean, and there are small playgrounds for kids.

Unfortunately, the restaurant next door isn't that great. Long wait times. Even after we finished eating, our plates sat there forever. At some point, we went up to the staff ourselves and let them know that we'd like to pay. None of that has anything to do with the campground, though.

Great—the staff was friendly, and even though we booked on the spur of the moment, everything went smoothly. A beautiful, quiet campground. We’d love to come back.

A great campground located in the German-speaking part of Belgium.
The campground is known for its friendly, courteous, and helpful staff.
Apart from the brasserie, which serves burgers and fries as well as the usual drinks and local beers, there are no other amenities.
The site is laid out in terraces... and is partially shaded by trees.
We spent a night here on our way to Zeeland. A longer stay is certainly possible, but you should be self-sufficient due to the lack of shopping options on site. The restrooms were very well maintained.
We’ll definitely be returning to this campground.

Belgian restaurant available, you won't go hungry. Very clean sanitary facilities. The swimming pool means it's not boring for children either. Pitches are large enough. Bread and rolls service

Highly recommended
I will certainly come back here again. Apart from the lack of a store, everything was great.

It was once very nice there

Plenty of sun with shady spots
We were with 2 adults, 2 children (6 & 9 years) and a caravan with awning from 03.06.2015 to 07.06.2015 on the campsite "Hohenbusch". We paid €24.00 with the ACSIcard to rent the pitch including showers (W-LAN for a fee). The contact by email was very friendly, a reservation was not necessary for the... beginning of June. The campsite is easy to reach from the highway and well signposted. It is situated on terraces in the German-speaking Community, a member state of the Belgian federal state. As we arrived after 8 p.m., we only collected the access card, the water key and the credit card for the shower. We were formally allowed to check in the next morning. The parceled-out pitches are generously sized even as standard and are fenced off with hedges. A service pole with electricity, fresh water and waste water is installed at each pitch. One small drawback is the low power supply of 5 amps on the standard pitches. Although this is not recommended, our Senseo worked even with the fridge running and the therme switched on. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated and quite adequate for the size of the pitch. In addition to a family bathroom and a baby changing room, there is also a private bathroom that can be rented. Shower time is deducted from a credit card regardless of actual water consumption, which can also be used to pay for the washing machines and tumble dryers. A spin dryer is available free of charge. There is a petting zoo in the center of the campsite, which is "only" open from 09:00 to 12:00 for the benefit of the goats. As there were two young goats tonight, access was completely closed. There are three smaller playgrounds spread across the site. The main playground is right next to the heated outdoor pool. A rustic table tennis table is located near a completely car-free part of the site. In high season there is also entertainment and there is probably a recreation room. You can put in an order form for the bread roll service until 21:00 in the evening. Once again, we didn't get to explore the surrounding area. You can do your shopping in the neighboring town of St. Vith (Aldi, Lidl etc.) and fill up your tank cheaply in Luxembourg, 17 km away. The hiking trails around the campsite are beautiful and well signposted. The VENNbahn cycle path is about 8 km away.

Beautiful campsite
We, 2 adults with dog were from 13.05.-17.05.2015 on this place. It is a clean, well-kept site, top sanitary facilities, very friendly staff, we didn't use the swimming pool as it was a bit chilly. The standard pitches are large enough and easily accessible, water and electricity directly at each pitch. We felt comfortable and will definitely visit the site again.
