Quiet and relaxed weekend
The campsite is located in the middle of a wooded area on the edge of the village of Gasselte. This makes it very quiet, at least in the low season. However, we were told by a member of staff that the site is very popular in spring and summer.

The pitches are generously sized, very well maintained and... beautifully laid out. There is a huge unfenced sandpit, a water playground, swimming and fishing pond. Absolutely a beautiful campsite for families.

We were guests on the site from 10 - 13.10.2025. At this time only the 6 pitches with private sanitary facilities can be booked. This season 2025/2026 for the first time. Among other things, the private sanitary facilities have a built-in dishwasher. Everything is new and very well maintained.

As the sanitary building was already closed and we didn't eat in the restaurant, I can't give an assessment.

The site is ideal as a base camp for exploring the surrounding leisure facilities.
