Well-kept campsite on the outskirts of Vittel
We visited the site at the end of March right at the start of the season on our return journey from the south of France for an overnight stay. We received an incredibly friendly welcome from the owner couple. The site is just a few minutes' walk from the center of Vittels and offers everything you need.... The pitches are very well maintained and spacious. The new sanitary facilities were in use but unheated, whereas the older ones were warm and still presentable. There are great cafés, restaurants and bars in the village and a small but lovely shopping area that is perfect for a stroll. Ideal for a stopover. We have fond memories of the place and will visit it again.

Clean site with sufficiently large pitches, very friendly staff, close to the town center

No bus connection to the town center
Quiet campsite on the edge of a desolate village
Vittel, once a fashionable spa town, now desolate. You hardly see any young people, only old people in the middle of rows of houses, some of which are boarded up. There are hardly any restaurants open during the week, apart from the Club Méditerranée.
